the sunlight shined through the slightly parted curtains and onto aubrielles face. she laid on her back, tilting to the side and was under the comfort of her warm blankets. she slowly moved to be more on her side but her stomach turned and she felt something thick grow in her throat. her eyes opened and she had troubled breathing. when she heard a soft noise come from james, it was like everything went back to normal, except this time she was more awake.

she slowly got out of bed and felt something warm in her underwear, a quick thought went to her period and she walked over to her dresser where she kept her tampons. she froze. the realization of her being pregnant had hit her and her breathing had quickly fastened as she speed walked to her bathroom.

she went to the toilet and saw blood on her underwear. she closed her eyes to calm herself, but there wasn't much calming to do. she quickly finished her morning business, skipping the shower and brushing her teeth and quickly calling the prenatal care.

"good morning, i'm jess polina, how can i help you today?" a warm voice sang through the phone that was tightly held up to aubrielle's ear.

"hi, i'm a little over five weeks pregnant and this morning i found blood in my underwear," aubrielle said, trying her best to remain calm but she couldn't fight the silent tears that rolled down her face.

"okay, who is your doctor? are you feeling okay?"

"lydia brinks, and now im feeling a little bit light headed," aubrielle answered, slowly walking over to her bed to sit down. but when her eyes got caught on the red stain of blood from where she slept she quickly turned away so she didn't have to look at it.

it was a quick turn she couldn't handle and she dropped to her knees landing on the carpeted floor. her vision went black for two seconds before it returned blurry.

"what's your name?"

"aubrielle anders," she quietly said, her voice weak

"i have an appointment at noon, three hours from now, will you be able to make it okay?"

no audible response came from aubrielle, just a few murmurs.

"aubrielle? hello? are you okay?"

her vision went black again...

jess polina made quick action to find her address with the information aubrielle gave. she just had to hope aubrielle didn't recently move. an ambulance was called and sent to the address. upon arrival and after knocking a few times they kicked down the door, announcing their entrance.

after a quick search through the house they had found aubrielle on the ground and now the sudden cries from james. one person had carefully took james and aubrielle was lifted into a stretcher moments later. blood stained her grey shorts and trickled down her thighs, leaving small stains on the white carpeted floor. the whole way down to the ambulance they tried talking to aubrielle and received no response.

with each minute the ambulance drove to the hospital, the loud sirens surrounding them; the more blood that was leaving aubrielle. if you hadn't known that aubrielle wasn't the best with blood, it was a possible chance that it was the amount she was loosing that caused her to faint.
