41:Awake

(A/n's POV)

It been a month since the incident and Y/n hasn't woken up but Jaehyun was always by her side even though they had missions, he would always go back to her after the mission.

He has been there forever that even every nurses and doctors know him and took pity for him because he always goes to the hospital.

Nurse:"I see you have came back to see Ms. Zhong, Mr. Jeong?~"

Jaehyun entered the hospital again after he finished a mission with the boys, to be greeted by a nurse at the reception.

Jaehyun:"Yes I have, do you have any updates on her?"

Nurse:"Yes I do, her health is getting better and she might be waking up between this week or next week."

Jaehyun:"Really?!"

Nurse:"Yes Mr. Jeong."

Jaehyun:"Thank you, I'll be headed to her room now."

Nurse:"Your welcome Mr. Jeong."

Jaehyun headed to the same direction he goes and leaves everyday, happier than usual because he wanted to see his girlfriend again and the fact that she might wake up soon puts a smile on his face.

He entered the ward and sat at his usual place, holding Y/n's hand waiting for any response from her if there was any.

Jaehyun:"Hey Y/n, I've got the news that you will wake up soon, I can't wait to give you cuddles, hugs, kisses and all the live we've missed out on. Please wake up soon~"

Then suddenly, Y/n's finger twitched a bit. Jaehyun looked down at their interlocked hand, feeling the contact from her finger.

He thought he was dreaming but then, her finger twitched again and he saw it with his own eyes.

Jaehyun called the nurses who then went to check up on her and he called Nct as well.

After a few minutes, Nct run to Y/n's ward as she was about the wake up.

She squinted her eyes, adjusting to the brightness while Jaehyun stepped closer to hug her.

Jaehyun:"You're awake?!"

Y/n:"Wait, Jaehyun?! Where am I?"

Jaehyun:"Well, long story short we defeated Rosè's group but you got shot and fell into a coma and now you're back!"

Then Chenle ran and plunged into Y/n's body for a hug with she returned while laughing.

Jaehyun:"Chenle, don't go too hard on your sister, she still hasn't recover yet."

Chenle:"Ok, dad~"

Jaehyun:"Yah, It's hyung to you!"

Y/n:"You guys haven't changed, still as childish as I last saw you."

Y/n giggled and soon everyone joined her, laughing together after being apart for so long.
