Dracos pov

"No, no, no." I hear someone crying and pressure coming off my body. My eyes fly open and I see mother in front of me and Andromeda crying. I grab her back quickly as Andromeda clings to me. "Draco you have to let her go sometime" my mother says. "Yes, but nows not the time" I say. "Well dinner will be ready soon and you both need to eat" she says sternly. I nod and head upstairs to the west wing.

I enter my room and my bags have been unpacked. I also saw some big boxes and bags on my bed. Probably some early Christmas presents from mother. She spoils Andromeda silly every year even when she was a baby. Andromeda didn't seemed fazed from the presents and usually she'd be begging me to open them. "Ok sweetheart it's bath time now" I say. "No put down" Andromeda says clinging to me tighter. "Shhhhhh it's ok I'll be right next to you ok. Can you be brave for me" I whisper to her. She slowly starts nodding and I walk into the bathroom to start her bath.

Andromeda did pretty well in the bath considering she hasn't been out of my arms for hours. We played with the bubbles and she was actually laughing and smiling. It felt good to see her giggle and feel safe. I grab her out of the bath and put her into some purple pajamas. But as soon as she's out of the bath she's back in my arms.

I hear a knock on my door and it's mother. "Hi my sweet girl I know what will make you feel better opening some presents" mother says entering. "Do you want to open your presents" I say. "Yes please" Andromeda says quietly. We all smile and go to sit on my bed. Andromeda crawls out of my lap and over to the biggest bag. She starts opening it and reveals a huge stuffed dragon. She starts to giggle and hugs it tight. "What do we say." "Thank you Narnar." "Of course my angel anything for you. You know your daddy's name actually means dragon and dragons are known for being fierce protectors" she says. "Daddy's a dragon" Andromeda says jumping into my lap. "Yes I am and I'm not gonna let anyone hurt you" I say kissing her cheeks as she giggles. Andromeda continues to open presents as I see a little bag with my name on the tag. I peach inside and it's a box. I pull the small box out and pop it open. Revealing a gold banded ring with the name Andromeda engraved in it. I smile at the ring knowing I can wear it all the time. The bracelet I couldn't really wear to school without the other students making comments.

We heard the knock for dinner and headed down to eat. After we ate I brought Andromeda upstairs and read her some bed time stories. She fell asleep around the fifth story and I didn't dare move from my leather chair in front of my fireplace. I hear the door open slightly and it's mother. "Oh I forgot how cute she is when she sleeps" she says. "Ya she is the cutest little girl in the world" I say smiling. "Draco dear you look dreadful. Why don't you put Andromeda in bed and go hop in the shower." "No I can't put her down. If she wakes up she's going to think I abandoned her and am never going to come back" I say. "Draco. She's three." I glare at her for a second before turning my gaze back to Andromeda.

"Fine if your so concerned with leaving her. I'll take her and sit in here until your done" she says sticking her arms out. I reluctantly get up and slowly transfer Andromeda into her arms. "I'll only be a few minutes  ok" I say heading into the bathroom. I quickly glance at the mirror and my Merlin I do look dreadful.

Narcissas pov

Draco sets the small girl into my arms and it feels so good to hug her again. It just felt nice to have innocence in the house. Andromeda meant more to me than anyone would ever know. She was so beautiful as well. She had long black hair like Bellatrix's, she had Dracos blue eyes, a sweet round face, and an adorable nose. Her beauty also lay with her birthmarks. She had a small heart on the back of her neck and had a crescent moon on her right shoulder. It was identical to Dracos birthmark. The same place and everything.

"You know you mean so much to me. You'll never truly know how much I love you. You make your father so happy as well. I haven't ever seen your father smile they way he does when he's with you. Your father loves you more than anything in the world. The wizarding world and the muggle world. You also remind me of my sister. My older sister I was the youngest of the three of us. Her name is Andromeda as well. Your names after her. My my she was a real badass. She defied our parents and married a half-blood. I know I can't believe it either" I say looking down at her. "She had brown long hair with eyes to match. She also had fair skin. She married a half-blood named Ted Tonks. Bellatrix and our parents were furious when they found out. We found them in the woods. Bellatrix had vaported to us and found out that way. They both started shooting spells at each other. Your aunt Bella hit Ted with a nasty spell which resulted in them chasing each other through the woods. That was a hard day. But you know what Andromeda was always the nicest sister and you sure are the nicest Malfoy."

"I don't talk to Andromeda at all. Not since she left. I know she had a daughter. Nymphadora. Which makes her your cousin once removed. I think. Anyways you remind me of her. Your grandfather and I had a big fight after we got home from naming you. But hey I missed her. But don't tell anyone that. You know your a good listener. No wonder your father loves you so much. Your his best friend and his other half wrapped into one. You bring him so much happiness. I've never seen him happier. Your not going anywhere. Your a Malfoy and we protect our own. I won't let them take away my sons happiness. Your gonna stay with us. Even if that means you and your father have to go into hiding for a couple years. Or for forever."

I hear the door open and see Draco all ready for bed. "Did she wake at all" he asks. "No she was a perfect angel as always." He smiles and walks over to me taking her from my arms and putting her in bed. I stand up and head towards the door. "Night mother" I hear from behind me. "Night Draco." I quickly take a look back and see Draco and Andromeda with their back turned towards me. Their birthmarks both insight lining up perfectly.

Hogwarts will not take away my sons happiness.
