ALPHERO

It took us minutes before we reached the fourth and final floor. Hindi tulad ng mga naunang floors, ang final floor ay walang mga pader. Just the floor and the ceiling. In the middle of it was a small room. There are dozens of locks in there.

Maingat kaming lumapit sa silid. Cinco studied the locks.

"These locks are old. Madali na silang masisira. But we need to be careful. It could be a trap," she said after analyzing the locks.

"Let me handle it," ani Cuatro sabay handa ng brass knuckles niya.

He was about to punch the locks when a bullet hit the door. Hindi ito tumagos sa loob ng silid.

We looked behind to see the remaining Pentagon along with some of their men blocking the exit and aiming their guns at us.

"Goodbye, Decade," Troy said before they shoot their guns.

Napatago kaming lahat sa likod ng kwarto. Nadaplisan ng bala sa braso si Cinco habang sa paa naman si Cuatro.

"Na-miss niyo 'ko agad?" napatingin kami sa itaas nang magsalita ang pamilyar na boses.

"You traitor!" sigaw ni Cuatro sa kaniya pero tumawa lang siya ng malakas.

"Sorry, Decade. But I guess this is the end of your tale!" Grace pressed a button and the floor where we are collapsed.

Pagmulat ko ng mga mata ko, nakita ko si Uno at Cinco na naghahanap ng matatakasan sa apat na pader na nakapalibot sa 'min. So the room was a trap after all.

"What did you find?" tanong ko sa kanila.

"The only exit is above. But it is 50 feet above the ground and we don't have any equipments," Cinco answered, looking up to the light above.

"Buhay pa ba kayo?!" a voice suddenly shouted from above. It was Troy's.

"Sorry but no one can save you here! Bye!" si Grace ang narinig naming huling nagsalita bago sila may itinakip sa itaas. Binalot ng kadiliman ang buong paligid.

Good thing Cinco have a flashlight in her laptop. She is typing there. Nang masanay na ang mga mata ko sa dilim, napansin ko ang iba pa naming kasama.

Diez is looking at Tres' arm. It was badly injured.

"Bakit mo pa kasi ako niyakap? I can take the fall damage, for Pete's sake!" nag-aalalang panenermon ni Diez sa kaniya.

On the other side, Dos, Cuatro, and Seis looks okay. Mukhang hindi sila napuruhan gaya namin. Only one Decade got badly injured.

"I contacted the hideout. They should be here any minute by now," Cinco said.

Nabalot kami ng katahimikan. Walang gustong magsalita kahit na sino. We quietly waited for the rescue to come.

Gaya ng sinabi ni Cinco, dumating ang ibang Alpha Fleet sa pangunguna ni Lenn. They all helped us climb up. Nakaalalay si Diez kay Tres habang umaakyat sila.

"What happened?" tanong sa 'min ni Lenn. I can feel that she's feeling awkward talking to us because of her sister's betrayal.

"They got us. We didn't saw it coming," I replied.

"Argh! I can't believe they got us thrice!" sigaw ni Cuatro. Galit na galit siya ngayon. "Humanda talaga sila sa susunod! Uubusin ko sila! Kahit pa si Nueve!"

Napansin kong napayuko si Lenn. Wala siyang kinalaman sa pagtatraydor ng kapatid niya pero nasasaktan pa rin siya. Inaakala niya sigurong iisipin din namin na kasabwat siya ng ate niya.
