ALPHERO

Mina walked out and I can't even look at her face. I have no choice. Alam kong ipipilit niya na tulungan namin si Candy. Alam ko rin na kasama sa tungkulin namin na sinumpaan iyon pero hindi ko kayang tulungan ang taong may malaking kasalanan sa Alpha Fleet. Lalo na sa Decade.

Good thing I have the Decade on my back. Sa ilang taon na naming pagsasama, nakilala na nila ako. They gave me support a while ago because they know how I am feeling right now.

Kung pwede nga lang na maalis agad ang sakit, gagawin ko para matulungan sila at hindi umabot sa ganito. But everytime I see my friend lying on that hospital bed, all my emotions mix up to the point that I cannot control myself anymore.

"Anong plano mo ngayon?" Tres asked.

"I still don't know," I honestly answered.

"I think we should help them," si Dos. Napatingin kami sa kaniya. "Uno wouldn't like it if he found out that we abandoned her parents."

That was the point. Iyon ang mas nagpapalaki sa isipin ko. They are not worthy to receive our help since they caused us a very big problem but I know Uno will ignore what they have done and do what is right.

I'm not against doing the right thing. I'm against giving help to people who don't deserve it. Call it pride if you want to but I would rather call it dignity.

"If you're not willing to help then so be it," Tres said.

"We'll be the one to help!" Siyete exclaimed.

"Gusto ko din magkaroon ng information tungkol sa kanila," si Ocho.

"We'll hit two birds with one stone," si Diez.

Kung gusto nila, eh 'di gawin nila. Wala naman akong problema do'n, basta 'wag nila akong isasama. I still believe that they have to face the consequences, even if these people do not know what happened.

Pumunta nalang ako sa kwarto ko. They will all go so there's no point for me to stay there.

Humiga ako sa kama ko. Simple lang ang kwarto ko kahit malaki ito kumpara sa mga normal na kwarto. Itim ang wallpaper na may mga white dagger na design. May isang steel study table at nandoon lahat ng gamit ko bukod sa mga damit ko na nasa isang malaking gray na cabinet at drawer.

May isang computer desk din doon at kapag wala akong magawa, naglalaro lang ako doon. May console din ako para kung sakaling ma-bore ako sa online games sa pc, may iba pa akong malalaro.

There's a shelf above the study table where I put all the books I have read. Nakahiligan ko din dati na magbasa ng mga action novels. There's two pistols hidden behind those books.

One word to describe my room? Emo. Sobrang dark kasi at walang kabuhay-buhay di gaya ng mga common rooms na blue, red, green, yellow, pink, violet, at iba pa ang kulay ng mga kagamitan. Masakit kasi sa mata ko kapag masyadong makulay. That's why my mask is color black.

Napaisip ako ng malalim. I know that I went too far. It's immature and childish to act this way. But I don't want to make it look like they did nothing wrong.

Biglang pumasok sa isip ko si Mina. She will seriously go there and act like a hero. Alam naman niyang hindi niya kakayanin pero sige pa rin at umalis siya. Maybe I spoiled her a little bit?

Tumayo ako at lumabas ng kwarto. They don't know what's waiting for them. Maybe those Carson Clan already planned this out. Maybe Candy and Calvin are not really the damsels in distress but the enemy behind those shameful faces. Yup, I called Calvin a damsel.
