Chapter 03

CANDY

I still can't believe that we're almost kidnapped yesterday. Si Mina hanggang ngayon ay natutulala pa rin at halos mapagalitan na siya ng mga teachers namin kung hindi lang nila alam ang nangyari sa amin kahapon.

What I'm worrying is, two mysterious guys saved us.

Alphero, Marsh, and Randy are absent today. Nag-aalala ako sa kalagayan nila dahil baka pati sila ay na-kidnap din. The principal reassured us that the two are okay.

Pero bakit kaya nila kami gustong kidnap-in? What do they need from us? We are not that rich.

"Space out kayong tatlo, ah!" narinig kong sabi ng pamilyar na boses. I thought absent sila?

"Sino bang hindi magiging ganito 'pag na-kidnap?" sagot ko agad kay Randy.

"Why are you here? The teacher said you were absent," tanong ni Mina sa kanila.

"We just wanted to say sorry. Next time, don't lower your defense. Hindi niyo alam kung kailan aatake ang kamalasan," Marsh stated.

Nagso-sorry na siya niyan? Aba, ayos ang sorry, ah. Not even a tone of sincerity.

"If you're just going to mock us, you may go. Wala akong panahon sa mga 'gaya niyo," Mina said.

"Hey, listen! We're not planning to mock you and embarass you to the whole campus! Gusto lang naming mag-sorry!" sabi ni Randy. Sa sobrang lakas ay rinig na rinig ang boses niya sa buong canteen. So much for the 'whole campus' thing.

Mina suddenly stood up and threw sharp glances to them. "Move away,"

"Excuse me?" Marsh replied.

"Mag-oorder ako. You're blocking the way."

Tumabi naman silang dalawa para makadaan si Mina.

"If not for Al, I'm not going to apologize here," Marsh murmured but I think we all heard it.

Napatigil sa paglalakad si Mina nang marinig 'yon.

"W-What did you say?" she asked.

"Hey, no blushing," pang-aasar ni Randy. Ngiting aso nanaman ang loko.

"E-Ewan ko sa inyo!" then she walked fast towards the counter.

"Apology accepted-"

"No. I overestimated you two. Tatlong babae lang hindi niyo ma-protektahan!" Janine cut my words.

Mukha namang nabigla sila Randy sa sinabi niya. I'll remind myself to cut this girl's tongue later. Pinapahamak niya kami!

"Is that so?" Randy asked. His tone became low. Oh no. This is trouble!

Marsh stretched his arms as if getting ready for a fight. Sabi ko na, mapapahamak nga kami dito!

"Let us show you how weak we are," Marsh said in a sarcastic way.

"Go. I will watch," we heard Mina spoke from behind the two, crossed arms.

"Nasa'n 'yong in-order mo?" tanong ni Randy.

"Hindi ako nag-order. Gusto ko lang na paalisin kayo, but you're so persistent especially to these two girls which are my friends."

"You really are a pathetic brat," we heard a familiar cold voice spoke from behind Mina.

"At sino ka naman na biglang umeepal-" Mina didn't finished her words when she saw who the man is. Alphero Hermes. Now this is really a big trouble.
