I wake to the feeling of feather-light kisses on my cheek, followed by the tickling of facial stubble. My eyes open, landing on Tobias smiling, staring at me. I rub the sleep from them. He happily greets, "Good morning, my beautiful future wife." I reply, "Good morning." The morning sunlight catches my eyes, drawing them to the beautiful ring on my finger. The sight makes me internally happy, soon I'll be married to Tobias, who is one of the best things that has ever happened to me, and I'll be Mrs. Eaton. A smile tugs at my lips, thinking about my soon to be new last name. Tobias's voice brings me back to reality, whispering, "I love it when you smile. It's the most beautiful sight in the world," he leans, pressing his lips lightly against mine. Pulling away from the kiss, he rolls onto his back. I turn onto my side toward him, he wraps his arm around me, and I run my fingers playfully along his abdominal muscles. Happiness fills my chest lying in bed with him, this is the happiest I have been in several weeks, and I want to stay in this moment for as long as I can. In his arms, I feel peace, safety, and happiness. Unfortunately, our moment of peace has to end: my bladder is ready to explode.

Quickly, I jump from the bed. While I'm walking to the bathroom, a whistle catches my ears, "You look good, Tris." My cheeks heat at his comment. My eyes quickly fly to my outfit. I forgot I was only wearing his t-shirt. My fingers tug at the hem of the t-shirt, tugging it lower, my courage from last night long gone, embarrassment floods my chest, and I quickly run into the bathroom. While in the bathroom, I brush my teeth and hurry back to Tobias, not wanting to miss another moment with him.

When I return to the bedroom, Tobias isn't there. I crawl back into bed, waiting for him to return from wherever he disappeared to. I move my finger back and forth in the sunlight, watching the diamond sparkle in the light. My mind drifts to his proposal last night. The proposal itself was perfect. I should probably call my parents to tell them. Christina is going to flip when I tell her. Tobias reappears in the doorway with a plate of French toast and a cup of tea on a tray. He even has a single flower on it. When he places the tray on my lap, he leans, placing a kiss onto my forehead. I smile, "Thanks, this smells delicious. Where did you get the flower from?" He grins, "I got the flower from the yard. I wanted to spoil you and make you breakfast in bed." My mouth waters while I dig in, moaning when the amazing taste of nutmeg and cinnamon hits my tongue. With my mouthful, I laugh, "This is the best thing I have eaten all day." Tobias smirks, "That's the only thing you have eaten," stealing a piece of toast.

When I'm done with breakfast, I head to my room to throw on a pair of yoga pants and a blue and purple tie-dyed t-shirt. I return to Tobias's room to find he has changed out of his PJs as well. He glances at me, sitting on the bed with the remote, "I figured we could have a lazy day in bed. I wanted to spend some time together to make up for the lost time while I was gone." A smile tugs at my lips while I crawl over to him in bed, "I like the way you are thinking." His arms encircle me, pulling me close to him, and his lips push into mine. We spend minutes lost in the kiss. He pulls me on top of him, and my hips brush against him while his hips bump against mine. We pull away breathless. He kisses my forehead lovingly. I lay my head against his chest, listening to his pounding heart while we both attempt to calm down. He whispers, "I love you, Tris," pressing his lips to the crown of my head. I reply, "I love you." I roll off him, lying next to him, and he turns the television on.

We spend the day napping on and off together, talking, watching whatever is on the television, and having the occasional make-out session during commercial breaks. Overall, our day together is peaceful, and it's just what the doctor ordered for both of us.

The next day, I wake up feeling well-rested. I roll from the bed, careful not to wake Tobias, who is still sleeping. He looks peaceful. I can't bear to wake him from his slumber. His brow is slightly creased with a slight pout on his lips like he is concentrating hard on something. A smile tugs at my lips at the sight of him. Before I head down to the kitchen to make us breakfast, I grab clothes to get dressed for the day.
