"Seriously, where are you guys taking me?" I asked from the backseat of Michael's car. Neither of them answered me. That was the third time I asked that question. That was also the third time they've ignored me.

I crossed my arms and looked out the window. California was really pretty. In a way it reminded me of New York. Big buildings, lots of people and lights. Commotion everywhere. However, California seemed to be more chill and laid back. People here seemed to go with the flow. Nothing like New York.

"Crash," Michael said.

"What?"

"I asked if you could swim."

I stared blankly at the two boys in front of me. "What kind of question is that?"

"Answer it."

I sighed. "Yes, I can swim."

Mom put me in swimming lessons when I was little. I hated them.

Mom.

I pushed the thought of her out of my head. Now was not the time to get emotional.

"So, wherever we are going has to do with water," I stated. They were still ignoring me. I was seriously contemplating jumping out of the car.

"You know Ashton, you're not making a very good first impression."

I heard him chuckle. "Whatever you say Crash."

I huffed, becoming more impatient and angry with these two. They could have at least told me water was going to be involved in whatever they were planning. I would have worn a swimsuit, or at least different clothes.

"Here we are," Michael said, shutting the car off.

I scrunched my eyebrows together. "There's...I don't see anything."

"You have to get out to see."

I followed the two boys, walking close behind them. I could see the lights of the city in the distance. Ashton and Michael abruptly stopped, making me almost run into them.

"Look," Michael encouraged me. I looked down and gasped.

We were standing on a cliff. It wasn't a high one like you see in movies, but it was fairly far up from the ground. I squinted and could see water down at the bottom.

"I'm supposed to jump," I stated flatly. Michael and Ashton nodded.

"How the fuck do I get back up here after? I didn't even bring a swimsuit!"

"Stop being such a baby, Crash," Michael mumbled as he took his shirt off. Then his shoes and his pants. I realized Ashton had done the same, leaving the two of them only in their boxers.

"Really?" I sighed. I kicked off my shoes and yanked my pants off. "You're lucky I wore cute underwear today."

"Oh yeah," Michael said, rolling his eyes. "So lucky."

"At least mine don't have tacos on them," I snapped. Ashton giggled.

I stood in between the two of them, my blue bra and red underwear clashing horribly. But at this point I didn't care. I stared down at the dark water once more.

"How deep is it?" I asked.

"Deep enough."

I shrugged, trusting their answer. I backed up a few steps before running and hurling myself off the edge of the cliff. I laughed on the way down. I hit the cool water within seconds.

I popped back up and looked around. Michael and Ashton have yet to jump.

"What're you guys waiting for?" I called up to them. "Come on!"

Ashton jumped first, following closely by Michael. I laughed at the two of them, their hair stuck flat to their heads.

Ashton was smiling hugely. "I'll never get tired of that. Let's do it again!"

A/N: I feel like the flashback chapters are always super short

My underwear and bra never match so if yours do then props. ALSO I've never been to California or new York so I'm sorry if my assumptions are off. The only places I've lived are Wisconsin and North Carolina.

Dedicated to @hookedonirwin because she said the makeout session in the last chapter was hot even though I thought it sucked
