Disclaimer: I don't own Ninjago, just the story.
Day 27 of the Flumptober challenge! Today's prompt is "Don't curse, we have little ears listening." I will also post this in my Ninjago Next Generation One Shots.
Kai and Skylor had decided to take their kids to have a nice dinner together. Skylor was holding their two year son, Zeke, and Kai was holding the hand of their four year old daughter, Juliet.
As they were walking up to the restaurant from where they parked, Kai realized that he forgot the kids' jackets. "Ah sh-"
"Don't curse, we have little ears listening," Skylor told her husband sternly. She knew whenever Kai was about to curse and didn't want the kids repeatig it. She also knows that Kai will curse when he forgets something. "What did you forget this time?"
"The kids' jackets." He moves Juliet closer to her mom. "Juliet, stay here with mommy. I'll be right back."
"Ok daddy," she said.
He ran back to the car to grab the jackets. They always liked to bring the jackets into restaurants with them if they were going for dinner because it could get cold when they left. After about three minutes, Kai returned with the jackets. "Got 'em. Let's go have dinner." Juliet grabbed her father's hand once again and they went into the restaurant for a nice dinner.
