Day 30 of the Flumptober challenge! Today's prompt is love confession.
The ninja decided to have a group truth or dare for the night and invited Skylor, PIXAL, and Seliel to join them. The game had been going smoothly with no fights, surpridingly. When they play truth or dare, someone usually ends up getting angry from a dare and they end up fighting. There was even a time between Cole and Kai that powers got involved, but tonight, it was calm.
"My turn!" Nya called. "Kai, truth or dare."
"Hmmm," Kai thought about it. "Dare!"
"I dare you to tell Skylor how you really feel about her."
"Skip!"
"You can't skip!"
"I said skip!"
"You're the one who said dare!"
"You did say dare, Kai," Jay chimed in.
"No one asked you, Jay!" Kai yelled.
"You don't want to tell me how you feel about me?" Skylor spoke up.
Kai's face softened. "I-It's n-not t-that. It's...ugh!"
"Just say it, Kai," Cole said.
"You'll have to tell her sometime," Lloyd chimed in.
"Come on," Skylor said. "It's better that I know the truth anyway."
"Fine," Kai caved. "I-I like you, Skylor. A lot."
"You do?"
"Yes."
"It's ok because I like you too."
"Was that so hard?" Lloyd teased.
"Shut it, Lloyd," Kai hissed.
