The curtain hits the floor and Harry stands there, arms in the air and a grin that makes everyone in here scream as loud as they can. I feel like my ear drums are about to burst when he walks forward and jumps into his first song. He talks to the audience after the first one, it's just to rile them up a bit so he gets a response.
He sung Sunflower Vol.6 and the little 'boops' are still my favorite part of the song, especially when the audience joins in and Harry can't stop smiling during it. He talks to the crowd, reminding them this is the last show of the tour so no one should hold back. I know he won't, this is going to be a wild night.
"Welcome to the final show!"
Where do broken hearts go and then Canyon Moon and energy in the stadium was amazing. I saw Harry's small smile at me during Canyon Moon and I returned one, taking a photo of him playing the guitar.
Then She, which was incredible. That's when I noticed Mitch was using Harry's koi fish guitar and August probably did too, which I know is exciting to him to see someone other than Harry or me play it. He did Kiwi, which was his best performance of it and when he leaned back and spat the water from his drink bottle, the crowd went insane.
The lights went red and he did medicine, which confirmed that this wasn't a 'family show'. The poor microphone. There is only one word for that song and performance tonight..sexy. Poor Delilah having to watch that.
Then 2 more upbeat songs from his newer albums to switch it up after medicine, which were honestly so fun to sing but I knew the sadder stuff was coming. The show was meant to describe how he felt. Started happy and fun, then slowly starting to fall down and then by the end of show the crowd is emotional. There isn't one song the audience haven't sung back to him and I've noticed they keep turning his mic up a little bit because we are so loud. We.. because I'm loving this so much as well.
the sad one's started. Meet me in the hallway, then a new one that he wrote before Louis died when he started feeling the decline in his mental health. Then he sung one I had written that was going on my album, that had been talked about for years but I'm finally starting it when we get home. By then, the audience was no longer screaming or singing, they were quiet and listening to his voice. The girl next to me broke down in tears and I tried my best to comfort her as well as take photos.
I know there is only 2 more songs and then it's over. He finishes the one I wrote for Louis and talks to the crowd, sharing a tearful memory with them of our last Christmas, he talked about how he did this tour for him and that he was thankful for everyone coming tonight. It was a beautiful moment and very unlike his last tours, which were action packed and spectacular, this one was a little sad but very, very memorable.
He sings Fine Line, I catch him looking at me through the whole show and at the camera, leaning in so I can take up close photos of him during the rock type of songs. But, fine line is slow and it's hard to not get emotional during the trumpets, even more so when Harry wipes his eyes and the crows all collectively goes 'aww'
Sign of the Times, which blew me away. The emotion in his voice when he sings the notes is enough to make anyone shed a few tears. I wonder how Delilah and August are doing up in the box, because I'm filming this and wonder if you can hear me sobbing behind the camera. Everyone is crying, everyone is thinking about Louis but no one is leaving her with dry eyes, that was his plan the little shit.
'OK, so I want not one person in the crowd to not be crying'
'Harry, that's awful!'
'what? make them remember it..make them remember Lou'
It's working because when he finishes the song and thanks everyone coming, everyone gives him an emotional applause and whistles and I watch his eyes gloss over on the big screen. He walks off stage, waving and thanking everyone, picking up flowers from fans and small stuffed bear on the way.
