(Harry's POV)

It's December 31st 2035 and I glance away from Ave to the clock, 10 pm.

"Hey! Not new years yet!" She protest, her hair still in the braids I did earlier today and August and Delilah behind her. A reasonably quiet new years eve, but we are having a small party for just the 4 of us with a few drinks and food. We watched fireworks on the bonnet of the car last new years and it was amazing. I didn't even mind having to get a dent fixed after.

"So?" I laugh, the curtains closed and disco lights on the ceiling and reminding me of the dance party we had years and years ago.

She extends her had out to me "dance, H" It's not a question. It's an order.

I take a hold of her hand and stand up,  right as 'Umbrella' by Rihanna started and she grinned and we move into the space she cleared in the lounge room by pushing the table and beanbag away.

"Are you going to sing with me?" Avery asks and I nod my head, which makes her smile and when the chorus starts our giggly voices fill the air. Sounding great together as they always have. We were made to sing together.

"When the sun shines, we'll shine together" We sing together, grinning and holding drinks up "told you I'll be here forever, that I'll always be your friend, took and oath, imma stick it out to the end!" She lowers her glass and laughs as we sing the rest of the song, which seems oddly specific to us until I look over to see August holding his phone with a smirk.

Who let him DJ?

A little while later, while Avery is talking to Delilah, I move over to August and stand next to him.

"why aren't you dancing?" I ask, leaning into his ear over the music.

"Thought I'd leave that to you three" He shrugs, looking back over at his wife and daughter "Mr TPWK dancer"

"Nah, come on" I grab his arm, dragging him over to them and he doesn't resist. He's really shy  and waits for an invitation to do anything, even if he wants to do it. He's been like that as long as I've known him.

"Dad, sing this one with me!" Delilah stands up and walks towards him with a wide grin.

"I don't sing Lilah" He gestures to Ave and I "better to ask them, the musicians" He chuckles and Ave rolls her eyes.

"aww come on" Delilah pouts jokingly and Gus laughs.

"alright fine" He groans and she reaches for his phone on the table and types, then the start of 'Temporary fix' by One Direction starts. She's really at the age where her band phase is starting but I expected to be a newer band, not my old one but I don't mind and Avery definitely doesn't as she claps her hands in excitement. I feel feel a small twinge of heart ache when I her Louis' voice coming from her bedroom, it's so bittersweet.

"Yes! We'll play 'no control' next!" She suggest, looking at me from the corner of her eye and I remember performing that song with long hair, it was incredible. I think about the countless times Ave and I danced around my kitchen blaring that song.

"Yeah, and then 'medicine' after" I add jokingly and she shakes her head with a laugh.

"Seeing you perform that they way you did on tour was enough for her little brain.. and mine" She laughs and I forgot Delilah was with August in the box that night and some might say it was a little overboard but everyone had a good show.

I rest my chin on my hand, leaning forward with a small smile as two of my favorite people sing one on my favorite songs. Is it age appropriate for Delilah? Maybe not but it's fine.
