(Carter's POV)
I'm officially the stupidest fucking guy in the entire world. I'm surprised by now I'm not some poster child for dumb decisions, like inviting your forced fiancé on a date with another girl. Knowing very well that that forced fiancé has such a snotty mouth to go with her bitchy attitude.
But, I must say, Scar is no walk in the park either.
"Why must I sit in the back, Carter?" Destiny whined for the fifth time.
I rolled my eyes but kept them on the road ahead, the carnival couldn't come faster.
I sighed as did Scar beside me, in the front seat while Destiny sat in the back with Payton and Lanie.
"Because Destiny, I picked up Scarlett first." I told her as Scar looked over at me, I smirked and she giggled.
Scar knows that I picked her up first on purpose. But she had no idea that Destiny was even coming when she got in the car, neither did Lanie.
I filled them both in at the same time, telling them that this was a pity "date" so my parents would leave me the fuck alone.
They nearly gagged me and threw me on the side of the road. They didn't want that bitch coming anymore than I did.
I hate her.
They hate her.
Destiny is the last person that I want to be around right now and she just isn't getting the clue. She's a creepy bitch that is trying so hard to be with me.
And even if she wasn't trying hard I still wouldn't give her a second glance.
It should have been just me, Scar, Lanie, and Payton tonight. I don't know what the fuck I was thinking.
I could have had alone time with Scar tonight, to take a chance and really get to know her.
She is the one person I was worried about being uncomfortable the most is Scar, especially since she was going before Destiny was in the first place.
I honestly don't know what I was thinking inviting her along with us.
Like I said before, I am officially the dumbest fucking guy in the whole entire world.
"Well you should have picked me up first." She snorted. "I am your fiancé."
My hands squeezed the steering wheel in anger. "No, you're not." I growled to myself.
I swear Lanie, Payton, and Scar all took a relieved breathe when I pulled into a park at the carnival and cut the engine. They wasted no time hopping from my vehicle.
Well, damn.
Lanie and Payton took off, dragging Scar with them.
"Where you guys going?" I called after them, holdings hand up. "I have the money." I sang with a smirk.
Lanie stopped and turned to face Scarlett. "Sorry, Scar." She frowned. "Payton's paying for me."
Scar frowned, mirroring Lanie's face. But then Lanie leaned in and whispered something in Scar's ear causing her to breakout into a breathtaking smile.
In that moment, I felt jealous. Why couldn't I be the one to make Scarlett smile like that instead I make her frown.
With that Lanie and Payton took off towards the carnival entrance leaving behind me, Scar, and Destiny.
