Lucky Day

I woke up rather suddenly to the alarm, I shot up looking at the time 

"Ohh fuck!" I complain getting out of bed going into the bathroom having quick little wash, ehh I'll do. Going out grabbing clothes shoving them on as soon as I could trying to be fast but also quiet not wanting to wake y/n up even if I desperately wanted to turn the light on so I wasn't trying to get dressed in the dark. As soon as I was dressed I grabbed my bag going over to our bed tucking the covers around her naked body a little more and giving her head a kiss making her smile in her sleep. "love you sweetheart" I smiled before I grabbed my keys heading out the apartment locking up behind me rushing out to the cold new york streets, I prepared myself to be late for my flight there was no way I'd be able to get a cab at rush hour, I saw one going past so I tried to hail it and to my surprise, it pulled over right away "Hey, Uhh airport please" I told him and he nodded so I climbed into the back with my things, I got comfortable I knew we had to get across new york at rush hour I'd be lucky to get to the airport before lunchtime  But by some luck, we managed to get all the way across new york to the airport in record time "Cheers man," I smiled paying the driver and heading inside mentally preparing myself for my flight to be late, and deylaed like always. I checked in and found a seat in the lounge looking to where my flight was meant to go out but to my surprise before I could even get a book out my bag to read.

"Flight 613 To Las Vegas Now Boarding all seats" came over the intercom. 

I smirked a little this is my lucky day. 

I got up sorting my stuff heading over handing the stewardess my things she checked them over and immediately let me on. I found my seat with not a single soul on the other two seats, I took my own and got my book as other people quickly and quietly boarded, they quickly went through the safety stuff and took off. I was a little surprised, that it all was so simple and fast, and that I wasn't sat next to anyone. The flight went fine no crying babies, no turbulence nothing bad at all I just sat reading my book, 

"Your Beer sir" A stewardess smiled handing me a drink 

"Oh I didn't-" I began

"I know sir, it's from the gentleman over there," she says pointing to another man a couple of rows ahead with his own beer, she walked off and he smiled to me so I smiled back happily having the free drink once we landed I got off the plane no problem and picked up my bag heading out the airport putting my arm up for a cab and instantly one pulled over for me 

"Hey, Mirage Hotel please," I told him and he headed off dropping me outside the hotel so I paid him and headed inside to the check-in desk 

"Good morning sir how can I help you?" she smiled

"Hey, Mr Watts checking in," I told her "And do you know where I sign in for the Championship?" 

"You can sign in here as soon as you have your room key Mr watts" she smiled "Ohh... there seems to be a mistake with the booking," she says reading her paperwork 

ohh fuck, well looks like my good luck has run out. 

"There seems to be a double booking in that room, Oh dear I'm so sorry Mr Watts, But as it was a fault here with the hotel I shall move you to another room free of charge" she smiled

"uhhh sure" I smiled 

"Ohh but we're fully booked on the standard rooms... That's alright I'll just move you up to a suite" she smiled 

"Uhh okay" I nodded very happy to take this, she handed me my key and I singed in for the championship and headed up to my room. 

It was huge with a fancy double bed a beautiful bathroom, a balcony with a view out to the strip, I even had a tv. there was a complimentary bottle of wine on the table and a hundred dollars in chips for the casino, I threw my stuff on the bed and sat down.
