"Hello?" Ariana popped her head in, all smiles. "Your dad let me up. He can't deny that he liked me, even if I left his son... kind of weird, huh?" Ariana wasn't paying attention to my expression. "He's just glad you're happy." Her smile faded as she sat on my bed and saw my expression.

"Ariana." I said seriously, grabbing her wrists and pulling her close. Her eyes met mine. "Jessica is gay or something, I saw her kissing a girl."

"What?" She ripped her hands from my grasp, tripping over a small pile of textbooks. Once she steadied herself, she looked back at me. "Jessica has been treating gay people horribly, and now she's suddenly into girls? I swear-"

"I know!" I yelled, interrupting. "I want revenge but I know I can't hurt her the way she hurt me. It's not right." I pouted, sitting back down on my bed. I showed her the photo on my phone.

Ariana ran her fingers through her long blonde hair, frowning. That's when I realized what she was wearing; a dress.

"Ariana? Are you wearing a dress?"

"I-I," She mumbled, clearly uncomfortable. "I wanted to impress you, because I know you're upset.." She drifted off.

"Impress me? You're cute. Come here." I smiled, patting the spot beside me. She laid down beside me and closed her eyes. Together we both drifted off into a wonderful sleep.

"Okay, class!" My gym teacher, Ms. Sim clapped her hands together. My eyes narrowed as I saw the soccer ball she held in her hand. I could've sworn we had just started basketball. "We're doing a unit on soccer this month. I really hope by now you all know the rules to soccer."

I sighed and edged closer to Lauren, who thankfully was in my gym class. Andrea was here too, but she stood far away with her own popular crowd. My eyes met hers for a moment and she turned away.

"She still believes Jessica. What was the point of me being friends with Andrea for over six years? Wish I knew she'd pick someone else over me in the long run." I gritted my teeth. Lauren's eyes looked down at the floor and then back up at me as the soccer game started.

"Give her time." Lauren said simply as she walked away, joining everyone else. Like almost half the school, she was talented when it came to soccer.

Andrea stood on the side lines. Once again our eyes met. I saw her sigh and edge closer to me, then hesitate.

I moved towards her. "Have something to say, pretty lady?" I asked, making Andrea snort.

"Yes, I-," She took a deep breath. "I do. I don't know why I believed Jessica, I just thought since you're the only one who knew that stuff... I should've known Jessica would somehow find out my secrets too."

I nodded, crossing my arms and not saying anything. "I see. If you want to be friends with me, I suggest you learn to trust me first." I looked at her, tears forming. "And I expect an apology."

Suddenly there was a 'whoosh' of movement and Andrea was on the ground, clutching her nose in pain. I helped her up and my eyes widened when I saw she had a bloody nose.

"Stupid soccer ball," She whispered, still holding her nose tightly. I could tell she was easily on the verge of tears. I walked over, smirking, and held out my hand. She gripped it, getting up. "T-Thanks." She stuttered, looking at me from over her hand.

"Take her to the nurse!" Ms. Sim informed me. I nodded, putting my arms around Andrea's waist. She shot me a look, knowing I would slide my hand to touch her butt. I smirked once more as we started walking in the direction of the nurse.

"Carter, I'm sorry. Please forgive me." She murmured as we walked.

I just laughed, not bothering to say what I was really thinking. I led her to the cold room that was the nurses office and waited behind a few other people.

After about five minutes, the nurse saw us and spoke up. "Soccer ball hit you too?" She was a short stocky lady sitting behind a desk. She stood up and walked over to the fridge to pull out an ice pack.

"Well, see you around I guess." I said quickly before Andrea could apologize again. I backed out into the hallway.

I had no idea what would happen after this, but I hoped karma would come and answer my prayers.
