The next morning, Olivia woke up to Quintin carrying Robbie into her room. Robbie was babbling loudly, and Olivia was thankful that he was happy today because she needed some light at the moment.
"Hey, loves." Olivia breathed as Quintin carried Robbie to the bed.
"Mama! Did he wake you?" Quintin sighed as he looked down at his little brother. Olivia took Robbie into her arms before snuggling him close.
"It's probably time for me to get up anyway... did you sleep well, Quinny?" Olivia asked, as she helped her son onto the bed. Quintin snuggled into his mother's side as he nodded.
"I did. But I was a little upset that Daddy didn't call me." Quintin frowned. Olivia swallowed hard because she felt bad about hanging up on Trevor.
"Quintin, I'm sorry. Do you want to go home?" Olivia asked, and Quintin sat up before eyeing his mother.
"Will you come home too?" Quintin asked sweetly, as a clump of his hair was tugged on by Robbie. He didn't get mad, he just gently took his brother's hand into his until he dropped his hair.
"Quintin, Daddy and I aren't getting along right now. There is a lot of stuff happening, so I can't go home... but if you want to go home I'll take you home. Then I'll have Lucy pick you up from school."
"But I don't wanna be at home unless you and Robbie are there too." Quintin sniffled.
"Baby, can you give me and Daddy a week? So we can keep this space and see if that helps?" Olivia asked weakly, and Quintin nodded.
"Yes, ma'am. I need to go use the potty." Quintin sniffled, as he quickly climbed off the bed. Olivia could hear that his breathing was uneven since he was starting to cry.

Olivia knew that after Quintin broke her heart this morning, that she had to force a relationship with he husband until something works or they both decided that enough was enough. Olivia cried all the way out to her house, but cleaned herself up before heading to the front door. She rang the bell as her hands shook and her heart pounded out of her chest.
After a moment, Trevor opened the door and looked at his wife for a moment before sighing and crossing his arms over his chest.
"What?"
"Quintin wants to come home."
"Is he in the car? Cause I'll take him back."
"Trevor, you aren't going to keep my kid from me. Not like before."
"You brought that on yourself." Trevor laughed bitterly.
"Do you want these babies? Robbie? Me? Or only Quintin?" Olivia asked weakly.
"I want you to stop making me out to be the bad guy." Trevor huffed.
"I'm not doing it. You are doing it to yourself." Olivia sniffled, before swallowing hard.
"I'll bring the boys home but we are... we are officially separated. We will live together for the sake of our sons and these babies... because I'm not getting rid of them. And I'm not going to just leave Robbie here when I know he isn't loved by you. Just like I'm not at this point. So I'll see you tomorrow morning."
///
Their separation really sucked. Olivia felt so alone, but knew that she had been feeling like that for awhile and it wasn't going to change. But Olivia knew that Quintin needed both of his parents, and Robbie needed her. She refused to let him be raised by Lucy just because Trevor didn't seem to love him as much as he loved Quintin.
Trevor was still angry with his wife for everything, but it became silent instead of outbursts. He still would help out with Quintin, but would barely even look at Robbie and never wanted to hold him.
"Do you want me to take Robbie with me today?" Olivia asked, after she came inside from getting Quintin on the bus.
"Where are you going?" Trevor sighed, as he worked on his physical therapy for his arm. He had gotten his cast off recently, but just now had to build strength in his arm again.
"I have a doctor's appointment."
"For?" Trevor spoke, as he finally lifted his eyes from his arm and to his wife's face.
"My pregnancy. Dr. O'Neal has to check my levels." Olivia breathed softly. She was scared that her babies weren't viable. That they weren't growing and one of the biggest fights she had with her husband would have been for no reason.
"You are starting to swell a bit. I can see it." Trevor spoke, as Olivia walked over and sat Robbie in his play pen so he could play while she got around for her appointment.
"I could just be getting fat." Olivia frowned, before moving towards her purse. She pulled out her vitamins and grabbed two before moving into the kitchen to take them.
"What are you going to do about the room situation?" Trevor asked, and Olivia tried to hide her shock when Trevor followed her into the kitchen and was talking to her.
"I have thirty weeks or something... I guess Robbie and the twins could share a room. Or we could change your old office into a nursery."
"Okay." Trevor spoke.
"Or I don't have to change it. I could find a place nearby. The twins and Robbie could live with me full time, and Quintin could trade off days with me and you." Olivia breathed.
"The kids need to stick together. I'll start cleaning out the office soon. Make sure it's ready to get painted and such."
"You don't have to do that, Trevor. I can. I don't know what is happening anymore, so I can do things for myself..."
"I don't want you to over do it. End up on bedrest or something."
"Especially since we'd have no money coming in." Olivia frowned. She leaned against the counter as she looked at her husband.
"Do you want me to go back to work?" Trevor asked, and Olivia shrugged.
"I don't have the right to tell you what to do. If you want to continue staying home, I won't fight you on it. I just wish that your time home could be spent with our baby..." Olivia sniffled. She wiped at her tears that she hadn't even realized she had been crying before slowly moving past her husband.
"Leave Robbie here. I'll take care of him. You should take some time to relax."
"Are you sure?" Olivia breathed, and Trevor nodded as he smiled weakly at his wife.
"Yeah. I guess that I should probably try and bond with our son. He's been alive for six months and I really haven't did much with him."
"Thanks, Trev... I might try to head to the precinct after my appointment. The more days I work right now, the more time I can take off when the twins are born."
"Drive safe."
"I'll try."
