Against her wishes, Trevor called an ambulance. Elliot and Trevor both insisted that she needed to get to the hospital faster than either of them could get her there. They were both worried about Olivia and the babies, and didn't care if she'd get embarrassed by getting pushed out of the building on a gurney.

Everyone stopped and stared as they took Olivia out to the ambulance as she fought off tears as she felt contractions. She knew the babies were too small to survive in the outside world, so these contractions did more than just make her uncomfortable.

"Liv, they are going to help you, okay?! We will follow you up to the hospital, alright?" Elliot spoke as he helped to push the gurney towards the ambulance.

"I'm having contractions." Olivia whimpered as she grabbed Elliot's hand as tears finally streamed down her flushed cheeks.

"What?"

"I'm going to lose them." She sobbed.

"No, you won't. Okay? I'm going to get the others and head to the hospital. I love you, Olivia. Stay strong." Elliot said with a weak smile. He patted her hand before turning and running back inside. As the gurney was moved into the ambulance, Olivia heard some mumbled words, but she was too focused on breathing through yet another contraction that she couldn't hear what was being said.

She opened her eyes once she felt that the contraction passed, before finding Trevor sitting on the bench beside her.

"Trev?" She whimpered hoarsely.

"I'm not letting you ride alone. Not right now." Trevor said softly.

"How far apart are your contracts, ma'am?" The EMT asked, as he started an IV as they sped through the New York streets and towards the nearest hospital.

"Contractions?" Trevor asked as his eyes went wide.

"I-i don't know... I just know that they are close together... and they hurt so bad."

Trevor was pacing the ER waiting room when the crew arrived. Elliot ran towards him, before stopping him from pacing. He was angry that he was here, but was a little thankful, especially since Olivia didn't have to ride alone.

"Where is she? Is she okay?" Elliot asked frantically.

"They took her into a room and are trying to stop the contractions. They are like every four minutes... they don't know if the babies will make it." Trevor struggled to speak.

"She might lose them!? She lost you and now she's going to lose the babies!" Elliot yelled, before turning around and storming back outside.

"What was she even doing there?" Trevor asked Kathy, as she raked her fingers through her hair as Cragen walked towards the front desk to see if there were any updates on his detective.

"We were trying to cheer her up, so we took her out tonight. She has been so depressed because of your dumb ass." Kathy grumbled.

"Hey, it's not my fault that we were fighting all the time! I'm happier without her-"

"Really? If you were happier without her, you wouldn't be here." Fin snapped from where he was sitting with Munch.

"I'm here because I watched her fall right onto her stomach! I was worried, but that doesn't mean I wanna be with her." Trevor grumbled. He went to walk out, but Kathy stopped him and dragged him away from where everyone was waiting.

"Why were you there?" She asked him as he crossed his arms over his chest.

"My girlfriend was invited. I'm her plus one... and I bet that she's wondering where I went. I gotta get back." Trevor spoke, but he couldn't escape again.

"Trevor, she misses you. Don't you miss her or your sons?" Kathy breathed, and Trevor shook his head.

"I don't want her anymore, Kath. So I don't miss her, the boys, or what we had. I don't even think about them. So, I'm going to go now."

Olivia was taken up to the maternity floor as everyone waited for her contractions to stop. They had her on medicine to help slow and hopefully to stop the contractions, but in the end it might not work. Olivia might go home in a few days not pregnant, and with two huge holes in her heart.

Olivia was lying on her side and gently rubbing her stomach as she looked out the window.

"Benson." Elliot spoke, and Olivia took one hand away from her stomach before reaching behind herself. Elliot quickly grabbed her hand before sinking down onto the edge of the bed. He used his free hand and rubbed her back gently as she let out a sigh.

"What's happening, Liv?" Elliot asked, and Olivia shrugged a bit.

"They gave me a bit of medication to help with the pain. But I can still feel every contraction. I don't think that they are going to make it." Olivia sighed softly.

"Hey, don't think like that. You are going to keep those babies."

"No, I'm not. Clearly the world has it out for me... I never should have went to that dumb dinner."

They sat in silence for awhile, before Elliot laid behind Olivia and held her close. Kathy had came by to check in on Olivia, but didn't walk in because she knew that Elliot had everything covered. Eventually, Olivia asked about something, more like someone, that had been on her mind since earlier.

"Where's Trevor?" She asked softly.

"He left." Elliot frowned.

"Oh." Olivia whispered.

"Honey-"

"I feel so dumb, El. All I could think when he came to my side was that he still loved me and that he was there to help me. He helped me, but he could care less about me. I don't think he will ever love me again... and I just need to completely accept that." Olivia grumbled.

"I love you, Liv. Doesn't that mean more?" Elliot chuckled softly, and Olivia nodded as she closed her eyes tightly.

"It means a lot to me... it really does. But I need you to go."

"You need me to go? What?" Elliot asked weakly.

"I'd like to be alone for a bit. I'll call you once I find out more. And if I end up losing the babies or not... I'll need you if I lose them."

"How about I just-"

"Go, El. Please."

"I'll go, but I won't be happy about it." Elliot grumbled, before kissing the back of Olivia's head and climbing off the bed.

Once Elliot left the room, Olivia hit the call button. A nurse came in a few moments later before moving to the bed.

"Is everything okay, Olivia?"

"I'm pretty sure that I'm bleeding... either that or my water broke."
