Quintin ran ahead of his parents and straight into the bathroom to wash his hands. Once his hands were clean, he ran back out and straight to where his parents were standing with his baby brother.
"Robbie got released just for my birthday?" Quintin asked, and Olivia smiled and nodded as she sank down onto the sofa with her youngest son laying in her arms.
"He's doing great, baby. He's strong and his heart is fixed. As he gets bigger, his heart will get stronger and he won't have to be on oxygen. You really get to be his big brother." Olivia smiled as she gently reached out and caressed Quintin's cheek.
"Can I hold him, Mama? I haven't gotten to hold him yet." Quintin breathed, as he looked at his brother. He couldn't wait to wake up every morning to find his little brother was still at home. He couldn't wait till Robbie got bigger so they could play together and be big brothers to whatever other babies their parents bring home.
Quintin knew that Robbie would be his best friend, and he already loved him so very much.
"Trev, can you go get the pillow? The one that we use when feeding Robbie?" Olivia asked, and Trevor smiled and nodded.
"Of course. Once you have that to help support him, then you can hold him Quinny. Until then, go grab your other gifts and start opening them..."

Three weeks later, Robbie had proven Dr. Rivers wrong, and he got off oxygen much earlier than expected. With him being off of oxygen, Olivia felt pressured back into work. She knew that Trevor was going to be home with him during the day so she didn't feel horrible about leaving Robbie, but she still felt bad.
"I don't want to leave him." Olivia breathed, as she swayed back in forth in the kitchen with Robbie to her shoulder.
"Babe, don't go back to work then. Take some more time off. I wouldn't mind spending all day with you and our little guy."
"If I don't leave now, I'll never leave. Trust me. I'll want to stay home with Robbie until he gets tired of me." Olivia sighed, as she shifted Robbie forward before smiling when she saw that he was awake and looking at her.
"Do you want me to go back to work?" Trevor asked, and Olivia quickly shook her head as she moved and laid Robbie down in his bouncer.
"No, Trev. Stay home and be happy. You weren't happy when you were working. And you never know... I may be home again in the next year. Depends if we start planning on another kid soon." Olivia spoke. She turned around and smiled when she saw her husband blushing.
"I'd like that." He breathed, before frowning when Olivia's phone rang.
Olivia quickly took the call in the living room as Quintin ran into the kitchen with his shoes in hands.
"Daddy, they are knotted!"
"I can see that, Quinny." Trevor chuckled.
He took the shoes from his son and started to work the knots out of them as Olivia sighed and came into the kitchen.
"Trev can you take Quintin to school?" Olivia asked, as she moved and grabbed her to-go mug.
"Of course I can. But why?" Trevor asked.
"Because we caught a huge case and I have to run straight to the scene. I'm going take your car, so remember that you are driving the van... uh, I love you guys! Bye!"

Trevor's first day at home with Robbie went well. He was a very chill little boy who pretty much napped all day. He drained all of the bottles that his father made him and he didn't throw a fit while getting a bath. He even enjoyed the car rides they took throughout the day.
But around the time he was supposed to go down for the night, he wouldn't fall asleep. He started to scream and his face grew red as he cried at the top of his lungs. Trevor couldn't get Robbie to calm down, and Quintin couldn't either. So Trevor had to give in and drive to the precinct so that Olivia could calm their son enough that he'd fall asleep.
"What are you three doing here?" Elliot asked, since he had been leaving the breakroom when Trevor and the boys showed up.
"Robbie won't stop crying." Quintin yawned, before he walked over to his Uncle and reached his arms up to him. Elliot lifted his nephew up and held him as he yawned and shoved his thumb into his mouth.
"Wow, yeah I can hear that... Liv is at her desk. I guess I'll be holding Quintin while you two try and calm Robert down." Elliot spoke, since Robbie seemed too cute of a name for the little boy who sounded like a wild animal.
"Thanks. He'll probably be passing out soon too." Trevor frowned, before moving through the doors and to where his wife sat.
"Liv." Trevor breathed, and Olivia turned around in her chair before eyeing her husband.
"What are you doing here? Where's Quintin?" Olivia asked, as she stood and quickly looked into the carrier.
"Elliot has Quintin and I need your help. Robbie won't stop crying. I've changed his diaper, gave him a bottle, and even gave him a second bath. He won't stop crying and I honestly don't know why." Trevor frowned. Olivia could see that he was overwhelmed, so she grabbed the carrier and moved towards the cribs. She sank down and lifted her son out before holding him close as she hummed softly to him.
"It's okay, Robbie. Mama is here. I'm here and I just hope that tomorrow night you don't do the same thing." Olivia breathed.
"Liv?" Trevor whispered as he opened the door and looked at his wife.
"I think he just missed me." Olivia breathed, as she felt her son grip onto her hair with his tiny hand.
"Love, I don't want to bring him here every night to get him to calm down. I'm feeling like-"
"You are an amazing father, Trev. And don't worry... tonight will be the last night. We can start giving him my shirts. It'll smell like me and he'll relax okay?"
"Are you sure that you don't wanna stay home?" Trevor asked, and Olivia sighed as she rested her cheek against her son's hair.
"Trevor, don't feel discouraged. He's just a mama's boy... he'll come around. Now, come here and hold him. Let's see if he'll sleep in your arms."
