"It's windy and a lot cooler than many other autumn days. You should take a stroll," Rinea suggested with a smile.

It had been almost a week now since she was let outside Leo's house and had been frequently visiting Tara. Her health had improved a whole lot since then and her mana was stabilizing well.

Tara looked at her and shrugged, "I'm fine with just being lazy. When you become an adult, you'll unders... Well, you may be able to do that even now. Does the prince give you too much work?"

"Surprisingly enough, I miss being busy. I hope Cassian will be back to his old self sooner."

Rinea couldn't help, but smile. Being lazy was not something common for her. She was used to having a well-organized plan of her day and when something like that happened and cleared her management list, she became restless, thinking what to do now.

"How's the baby?"

"You should tell me. Haze said you predicted the sex."

Rinea blushed at Tara's remark. The duchess shouldn't have found out. Still, it was good to know that Tara wasn't taking it seriously given that she laughed, saying that.

"Just a hunch of mine."

"What is your mind telling you now then?"

"I think everything will be alright with you."

She overestimated her. Rinea wasn't that predicting, she had just felt her energy or so. Come to think of it, now Tara looked really better. The personal healer of the duchess had been visiting her and the Court magician herself had been giving her mana to the pregnant woman, so gradually Tara's health improved.

And so did Leo's mental health. It was painful to see his hurt expression every day when she went home, so Rinea took a couple of days off when she decided to stay by Scarlet's, uh, Tasia's side when she was still unconscious.

Rinea's eyes laid on the beautiful picture, a portrait, on the wall in Tara's room. The woman actually used to live in Leo's house with Rinea and him, but the sudden accident worried her brother so much that the chancellor made her stay in his place for a while.

"Is that you and the chancellor?"

"Ha! Yes, that's Jax and me. That cutie on the left is Sasha, a dog of ours we had till three or four years ago." She laughed and then smiled softly.

"Don't you think of taking another dog or even two? Someone told me once that pets are the pure happiness in people's lives."

"You do have a point. Is that why you cannot stop seeing that horse of yours?"

Rinea blushed, "No, it's just..."

"And to think that it wasn't Leo to give it to you, but the prince..." Tara grinned.

"You two have a nice friendship."

"He accepted me as a friend. In terms of considering my previous experience, he was my first and only friend at the time actually."

"It was so nice of him and Sirius to be so kind to you, I mean, when I was young boys used to think that girls were noisy and annoying."

"That's ridiculous!" Rinea exclaimed.

"Right? Guess what they said when they found out the noisy and annoying Tara became one of the Crown prince's and later the king's advisors."

"..."

"Nothing!" She laughed.

"They were so funny with their widened eyes out of shock and disbelief! Well, karma knows better. And to think I wanted to kick their asses before that, well, you agree the latter was better, right?"
