A week had passed since Rinea had met her brothers and supposedly their death. Though no one from the Heras went out stating that publicly, the girl felt that indescribable, but hostile feeling when having to stroll around the common area of knights and soldiers. She was sure Hugo was furious and had a hunch that she was behind this tragedy.

It had also been around a week after the beginning of those ridiculous, though oddly intriguing rumors going around the capital. And the palace had made a big deal of it.

Everywhere Rinea was going there were people talking about it. And how couldn't they? There had already been a rumor circulating around, though a bit vague, that the reason Liliana had been chained and imprisoned was that the rightful Saintess had finally appeared. The problem was that the king and his Circle as well as the highest-ranking nobles weren't ready to confirm this because the rumored Saintess had no power to prove herself as such.

But not long ago a rumor spread. It appeared that all of the priests detained in the Temple, had been slaughtered. This tragedy occurred just when the people felt uneasy in their believes towards the Three Great Priests Temple, the first temple in Hares, and that made them anxious and uncertain of what to do.

But if that was even the real problem...

The thing was that the murderer was impossible to be caught. Rinea, even with her high raking position as the prince's advisor and the temporary captain of the royal knights' squadron, couldn't really catch on what actually was going around. There were some baseless rumors that the king was fearing the goddess who was allowing such terrible things to happen in her territory.

But Rinea was sure for at least one thing: the king was waiting to see if this was really not just a false rumor and that was indeed the chosen by Leya. In this case she was sure the king would want nothing more but to lay his hands on that person.

But this wasn't important as of right now.

'Now I have to find her!'

Liliana held many things in her hands. Power – such that even the king feared and that was the exact reason he hadn't ordered her execution till now, knowledge – she surely wasn't the 'boss', there should be someone else pulling the strings from the shadows.

And lastly, hope. Liliana was Rinea's hope to finally find out why she had been made suffer so many years. Did she really deserve all that hatred?

'Tch...!'

Rinea slammed her cheeks hard blinking in order to overcome the pain that caused her eyes to steam. Oh, great, now she was going to cry!

'But I have to check out these documents first!'

Rinea stared at the two piles of papers on the desk in Leo's office and sighed unconsciously. Just these, only these and then she could be free to fumble in the place freely, looking for something that could tell her where exactly Liliana was kept imprisoned.

She had actually accomplished something. The day when she had witnessed her brothers death she went straight to the Palace to talk with Cassian or maybe just clear her mind, she didn't really know. But while using the invisibility spell she had come across a very busy, a bit thrilled prince who was going somewhere. She had followed him to a magic circle, a very quaint way of teleportating and had no choice but to use tracking magic when he had vanished into thin air before her eyes the moment he had stepped on the magical runes. Then, she saw Liliana behind prison bars, chained and gloomy, nothing like the person she had seen just recently. Her conversation with Cassian was only brief and there was nothing special to it, but during it Rinea had tried various ways of detecting the place she was at.
