"What's up? You busy?"

"...No. Not at all..."

"Great! I need your help!"

She grabbed him by the elbow and met his confused look with a sheepish smile, "Eli is busy."

"The prince is always busy."

"Jeez...You know you can relax around me, right? I'm no enemy."

"Only you can say that..."

"I heard you!"

She glared at him.

"You may be some beauty of an asshole, but I am generous enough to grant you with my presence..."

"Oh, how generous of you, my lady..." He murmured under his breathe.

"...so, we can chat together for a while, can't we?"

"Well..."

"I don't expect an answer." She cut him off immediately not letting him continue.

"I'm sorry, I was never good at etiquette."

"Do the third sons of ducal families ought to learn etiquette? What a shame."

"Well, you see, I'm no lady, so it's fine..." She grinned.

"Geez, what a face! I despise etiquette lessons too, okay?!"

"I haven't said any of that!"

"Yeah, the always perfectly perfect Keid de Bresner won't admit such a sinful thing. God, I haven't even thought of that!"

"Does a minute pass without you being sarcastic?"

"Not when I'm in your presence, sweetheart." She grinned rubbing his cheek.

He quickly moved his head to avoid her hand touching him. In vain.

"What? The terrifying second generation of a beast is scared by a little girl?"

"When were you a lit..."

"Hah! So, you really are...!"

"You, Keid de..."

"...BRESNER!"

Keid's mind snapped when someone waved a hand furiously before his face. A person who appeared to be a very irritated middle-aged woman.

"...Sorry..."

"For goddess' sake...! And here I thought in Syris had qualified knights too..."

"Um, who yo..."

"Who I am? Look around, boy! Where are you standing?"

...Oh.

It was...

Anastasia Street.

The exact place that tournament had begun.

Keid couldn't remember how he had ended up before this angry lady's shop like a lost dog in the streets. But he had a hunch what had led him to where he was.

In his mind played a scene from when they had taken part in that foolish game. A stupid, damn game that had caused trouble for his Master. And nearly had her injured.

"Well, would you like to move, please?"

The lady continued with her sharp and thin voice.

Keid stood from the ground and wend down the street.

He wasn't certain what to do. Since Tasia seemed more than irritated by his presence and unwilling to breath the same air as him than ever, he found himself taking a break.
