"...Calm?"
She had asked with amusement.
"You will be probably the only person who would ever call me like that."
Her savior had said that and yet...
I have a favor to ask.
A dangerous one at that.
One that would cost her life if she failed.
'Leo taught me not to be afraid of impossibilities.'
He had taught her well. He had taught her courage and she wasn't going to fail him.
Not him and certainly not her, Rinea's savior.
I'm counting on you, dear.
In all Rinea's poor experience, she thought it was like an entrance exam. And in some way, it seemed to be far too dangerous and concerning her life even more than that she had taken to enter the Academy.
To ensure her own success she had to use all her knowledge she had come across mostly during her Academy years and the time she had come accustomed to the Main Palace's structure.
Sneaking into Cassian's privacy didn't hold the greatest discomfort for her. Since the two had some difficulties that had grown into some unpleasant and disturbing feelings every time when they met, Rinea didn't feel really terrible for being rude to him in any way anymore. Maybe because she had been seeing him neglecting her all this while and she was too fed up with this.
Or maybe because she had realized – thanks to exactly him – that her too trusting nature was a double-edged sword.
And mostly – she was sure of it – was, because she had met one angel that had given her hope.
In fact, Cassian had to thank his luck she hadn't gone to kick his ass for treating her like that. Prince or not, he had to have some manners, for Goddess' sake!
"Who's there?"
Rinea had to hold the slightest surprise that demanded to emerge from her. It would be a lie if she was to say she wasn't shocked.
She was.
Rinea wasn't the one to underestimate her opponents, it was the other way round, actually.
But to think that the infamous fake saintess had such sharp senses when it came to magic spells...
"Tch. Won't you grace me with your damn presence, Spell Master?"
Rinea took off the invisibility spell that had wrapped her like a second skin and stared at the prisoner with curiosity.
"Damn presence? If I was really a Spell Master, my presence will be everything but damn."
"What modesty... Do you know who put that unpleasant spell in this dungeon?"
Rinea smiled thoughtfully when she was able to confirm her theory. Yeah, she had sensed an unpleasant presence in the dungeon. And it was very familiar with one high-class spell she had secretly read about in the Academy library. Too few were able to cast it and among them the spellcaster who was well-known for his excellence in it was...
Liliana grinned, "State your thoughts."
"How rude. And if I do not want to?"
"You are like an open book."
Rinea had been coming here in the disguise of the invisibility spell for a lot of time, so it was safe to say she wasn't expecting such a chatty saintess to welcome her.
