She had never been good enough.

Not good enough as the daughter of the marques. The outcast who had no talent and probably not even the blood of the Heras.

Not good enough to be the friend of the prince. If it hadn't been for Tara, who introduced Rinea to the king as captain of the royal knights' niece, and Leo, who had been bringing up about her before all the people he knew, she wouldn't have made it to the position of the Crown prince's advisor.

She didn't want all the attention now, though. Just simply a quiet, peaceful living. It wasn't that much, so... Why?

She didn't...

"Hey, Rin-Rin!"

Ha! Gale seemed to appear every time she felt down. What a stupid coincidence, indeed. Every. Single. Time.

She smiled at him, "What has got you here, Wolfy cat?"

Even as one of the most respected knights in his squadron, Gale still had no business in the Main Palace. The opening was two weeks ago, when that terrible event happened. Now he had no business in here, though. Only the assistants of the captains, aka knights-to-be were like messengers when there was the need to be reported something, but as Rinea knew Leo hardly ever took such as he was rarely accepting anyone in his squadron.

"Doing some not-Gale's job," he grinned with a bitter expression.

"Oh, don't tell me... Leo's not here again?"

"He couldn't withstand it and ran to lady Callios again."

Well, so far with the hopes of making his take some rest...

"Tara will be devastated. She told me to make him actually do his job."

"It's too naïve to expect such a thing from him right now."

Well, it wasn't like Rinea wasn't suffering from the same thing...

"What are you doing here yourself?"

"A report. Again. Sirius said I needed some fresh air and made me do his task. I'm going to the royal department."

Gale's company made Rinea's mind feel at ease. Just a few seconds a day spent like that were such a pleasure... She could just die with no regrets.

Moreover, she had just found another victim of two too loving their beloved ones people. Leo and Cassian deserved to be given some of her mind about this... But it was wrong to curse the Crown prince, so...

"We're here."

Rinea blinked, realizing that one of the clerks was expecting of her to hand over the report.

"No name?"

"It's the Social Department. Signed by the Crown prince."

After she received a short nod, the two turned around and left.

"How do you even manage the whole squadron when Leo's not around?"

"Somehow."

"That's not an ans..."

"Then how do you and Sirius manage the prince's work without him all the time?"

Rinea opened her mouth to say something, but nothing came. She shook her head in disbelief and sighed.

"It's... Hard these days, isn't it?"

Gale glanced at her with a soft smile and shrugged, crossing his hands before his broad chest.

"...It is."

Mathew still had a hard time adjusting to the current situation. His Master, the chosen by the goddess, aka the next in line after Leya to be worshiped, actually knew his name and was casually talking to him. She had even remembered his name!
