Looking after Tasia had become a thing everyone wanted to do the most. And still the prince was diching his work at the outside when it came to his sister. Now no one doubted their relationship.
"Still, he has a lot of work to do."
Rinea wasn't so warm to Cassian's choice to leave everything behind to his two advisors these days. Not that she would argue being given a lot of work, which in fact kept her pleasantly busy, but running away from obligations wasn't fair.
"It's not like he will listen to anyone when it comes to this topis," Sirius dryly said, shrugging.
But...
'The office is oddly uncomfortable and empty without his presence...'
Her thoughts were suddenly interrupted by a file being handed before her face.
"Take this and pass it to Cassian."
"What's this?" She asked looking at it, but there was no title.
"Social department report. He should sign it."
"Give it to him yourself. Aren't you a child of shadows?"
"What's with you these days? As if you're avoiding those two."
"Nonsense. It's not even certain if they are together."
"Is it necessary to doubt this at all? Rather I'm curious why you are so gloomy these days." His dark eyes followed her with suspicion clear in them.
"Should I be happily laughing like an idiot?"
"You usually do so."
"I'm just tired." She snapped.
"And when you find the need to see a smile, go get some air outside! And send this to the prince yourself!"
The last thing she was going to do was smiling at this brat like a light-headed person!
"Okay, okay, I got it! But still, do me this one favor."
"Why?! I'm already busy with the Health Department planning and checks-up after the Liliana issue."
After the saintess' great plan of exterminating all of the Haresians with a plague, the Health Department became quite busy and restless with checking the whole population one by one. Thus, Rinea became busy too. It was impossible to examine every and each person in the whole Kingdom, but still there was a lot to do, before ensuring the king and then the nation that everything was under control.
"I'm not in the mood of doing so."
"Oh, and when did I show my excitement to meet them then?"
Rinea narrowed her eyes in suspicion, "I won't serve as a way for you to escape meeting them."
"And so I will."
Their eyes met with determination and a will of no giving up. They looked at one another with ferocity.
Then Sirius sighed and patted her on the shoulder, leaning towards her, saying, " I won't advise you to miss this opportunity, though."
Rinea stayed silent, waiting for him to say more.
"I'll rather advise you to be more careful," he whispered as if there was a chance someone would hear them.
He then backed away, shrugging as if saying, 'It was nothing, really.'
"What do you mean?"
'Some people are suspicious of you,' he told her mentally.
Was it so serious that he was talking to her in this way?
