Light nipped her closed eyes and the need to close them once more to make this light disappear triggered her mind to open. It was then that the soreness of her throat and the thirst for water turned her brain more.

It finally began working in a way one could label as 'properly'.

"...awake..."

"...right, she is..."

Cold touch on her eyelids was the last thing needed for her to finally push herself beyond the limit and open her eyes.

Light faced her as expected. But it didn't change the scorching feeling that overlapped her eyes.

She blinked hastily.

"Oh, dear, she's unimmune to light..."

Ringing laughter filled her ears.

"Sadly, you will have to get used to it inevitably."

"Well, here we have lots of it..." Someone laughed as well.

When the white pots in her vision gradually disappeared, she was finally able to see her surroundings.

Before her eyes the angelic lady of her dreams appeared in the form of a grinning silver-haired girl with sparkling ruby eyes. She appeared more angelic than when Rinea had first seen her in that dark alley.

"Yu...riel..."

She grinned wider, "Correct. Goddess, you know how much time it took for me to persuade Keid to call me like that?"

She winked at me.

"You are as quick-witted as I thought when I first heard about you."

Rinea had a hard time deciding if she should thank her for the compliment or not. But because she had finally decided to leave her timidness behind herself, she chose to stay silent.

"She's soooo sweet!"

Rinea realized there was more to her surroundings than Yuriel's presence. She soon found herself staring at some warm brown eyes and the softest smile she had ever seen. The person threw herself into Rinea wrapping her hands around the girl in a way Rinea could only compare with motherly affection.

She could do nothing but stare blankly.

'Why is she...'

"I'm Aahlya!" She beamed after cutting off the spontaneous hug.

She looked expecting and Rinea realized she was waiting for the girl to say her name too.

"Ri...nea..."

"Rinea!" She grinned.

"It's nice to meet you!"

This woman looked like a fairy.

"Uhm...Where...am I?"

Then her mind snapped and realization downed on her.

"Where's Gale?!"

"Don't worry, he's also here."

Yuriel moved aside, so that Rinea could be able to see. On the opposite side of what appeared to be a large hospital-like hall was a bed. A bed seemingly occupied by a very huge man. His legs were hanging from the bed.

"I would have never believed if someone had told me before that the beds in the healing hall would be too short one day. Goddess, what does he even eat?"

Rinea's head snapped at this sudden exclamation and her eyes were met with the enigmatic figure of a woman, who appeared to be made of...light?

"What is it, kid?" The woman asked her, grinning.
