She was joining the game an hour after the start, so she had about thirty minutes left. After that all Haresians had a picnic together in the common area of the field not arranged by the festival's shoppers and participants.
Therefore Tasia had to be extremely careful.
In the games there were lots of people participating but a little part of it consisted of professional soldiers, who were attending just for fun. They were the real challenge in the game.
After Keid was summoned by the magician, Tasia received one of his ribbons and were teleported to the area where the other of the their team were.
She coughed at first when she was dropped from a huge height in the dust. That place was full of ruins.
"Scarlet!"
Noah was looking intently at her while trying to block one girl's attack. She quickly stood up just in time to receive the harshly said:
"After you generously decided to grant us with your presence, lady, will you please do something!"
Tasia was surprised Tarik didn't yelled at her. In this kind of situation she would understand if he did that. Tarik wasn't the type of a person to fight. Or just to hold a sword. Or any other weapon.
Tarik always said that war wasn't necessary, in order to achieve something or solve your problem and because that was what the Empress thought too he kind of escaped his necessary training as a noble's son.
'What a joke,' she thought, observing the hilarious seen where he desperately tried to repel another girl's attack.
"I'm just getting started!" Tasia yelled and pushed him behind herself, taking his place as the girl's opponent.
"Ha. Is that some kind of a game to you two?" Her face twisted in irritation.
She swung her sword just in time before Tasia was even able to lift hers. Tasia jumped in the last second but couldn't escape before her leg was hit.
'And there I thought I could win without any cuts.'
Tasia lifted her wooden sword finally and it collided just in time with the other's. The girl grinned.
"How lovely you are. Sadly, I cannot give you any marks to embellish your pretty face."
"You think so?"
Tasia moved her legs just in time before the girl's attempt to trip her. She lifted her hand and the only ribbon from Keid that she had wrapped around the other girl's wrist. The confident girl looked in confusion before Tasia pulled her own hand sharply together with the other's wrist.
She screamed and lost ground under her feet immediately falling in the dust that once made Tasia cough.
"Well, what a lovely look you have now," she grinned and kicked the girl's head cautiously of not having her had more than just gain unconsciousness.
On her body there were twenty five ribbons but rummaging in the pockets of her shorts she found another nineteen.
"Anything wrong?" Before having the chance to decide where to hide the found treasures, Noah had made his way towards her.
"Forty four," she said. "Keid is resting for now. I hope you are not dissatisfied with me switching places with him."
"If you need an honest answer..."
"No. Actually, you came just in time," Noah interrupted him immediately.
"Really?"
The look on Tarik's face said almost the same as Tasia's question, although he might have asked much rudely than her.
