The next morning brought a rude awakening. I got up when the alarm went off. I grabbed my clothes and his bonsai before mumbling something about seeing him later as I went back to my place. I put the plant down and went to take a long shower. I dried my hair and pulled it up. I pulled on jeans and a button down shirt. I made sure I had my dress, makeup, shoes, and weaponry (for just in case purposes) before I left to go to Castle. When I got down there, there was already a pot of coffee going. "Bless whoever did this." I mumbled, helping myself.

"You're welcome." I jumped, not expecting company. Well, I wasn't expecting this company.

"Bryce. I didn't know that you were in town." I smiled, trying to be polite.

"I'm in town to get the Intersect cube. They're going to put it in my head." He explained.

"Lucky you." I sat down, waiting for someone else to come down. "Is Sarah going with you?"

"I think so. I've heard that you're joining Casey's team after the wedding. You know that's a boy's club right?" He asked.

"Well aware. What everyone fails to realize is that I'm not actually going to be with them physically. I'll be in a different location at my computer." I replied. "Plus, the boy's club needs a new liaison who can get things done."

"Very true." Bryce nodded. "You could always come with Sarah and me."

"And be a third wheel? No thank you." I looked up when I heard the door open. It was Sarah. "Morning Walker." I waved.

"Morning Kat. Shouldn't you be helping Ellie?" She asked. "I managed to buy myself some time with a "work emergency"." I explained, "All I need is in my car."

A minute before ten, the boys came back downstairs. They were sitting down just as General Beckman appeared on screen. "Do you have any plans for the future?" She asked my brother.

"Much past this weekend, no." He admitted.

"I'm sorry to hear that. Agent Bartowski,"

"Yes ma'am?" I responded.

"Your flight to DC will be tomorrow night. Please don't miss it."

"I wouldn't dream of it."

"Well, if that's all, Colonel Casey please process Chuck's paperwork and give him his exiting packet." With that, General Beckman was gone.

"I'll walk out with you guys." I said, standing up. "I'll see you soon Sarah." I walked upstairs with Casey and Chuck. I sat on the counter and watched as Casey gave him an envelope with his pay and a card with his cell phone number. "Your fingers better be on fire when you're dialing." He threatened. Casey turned to me and pulled me close, almost pulling me off the counter. He wasted no time in giving me a hard kiss (right in front of my brother).

"I knew you were a real couple!" Chuck shouted.

"Shut it." Casey and I told him. "Until next time Agent Bartowski." He smirked and headed for the door.

"I look forward to it Colonel Casey." I replied. It took me a moment to get up off of the counter. I was still a bit dazed from the kiss. "You tell anybody and you'll regret it." I told Chuck once I was able to get up. "I have to go help Ellie now." I slid off the counter and we walked out of the yogurt shop together.

I got to the church and grabbed my stuff out of my car before heading inside. Once Devon's mother found me, she ushered me into the set of rooms that Ellie had taken over. As soon as my stuff was down, I was pushed toward a chair and someone started to do my hair. "How was work?" Ellie asked, handing me a mimosa.
