I never really spoke about how I'd started writing in a journal whenever I was struggling to fix something, in a lot of pain or just struggling in general. I guess I started after Chris and I had that fight. I needed something just for me that I knew would help me grow and move on from that time in my life.
Who could have known that I'd later be using those words and emotions in a song. I'd never intended or planned to ever have anyone else read or see those words but here we are. I don't feel embarrassed or guilty or sharing these words, I just want to world to understand that even celebrities or big social media people have their own struggles and battles non of us are except.
The song starts of about the pain I was feeling while being away from everyone that I loved. The pain that I was caused by Chris when we caught, the ache in my heart for the boys. Not to mention the loss I felt from not being with Bryan everyday. As the song progresses the mood lifts and it's spins into how it was going back to Dream LA and being with the boys again. Even if I am only with them part time. I still call Dream home it's the place where all of this really started.
It was great being able to work with Quinn in this song, we have both been through so many ups and downs in our journey both together and alone that we each relate to the words differently.
We can't forget about Dom either as he's just as important to the single as Quinn or I, if it wasn't for him we wouldn't have had a epic cover. He also helped me decide on the name 'Coming Home'. As soon as we'd made the decision to use his photo as the cover, I asked him to be my photographer for all my future shoots. Dom agreed instantly and we have been working really hard together on what idea's I have for my next single thats due to be released in a month.
