POV Bryan

I rush up from the table and head up the stairs looking for Sky, I head into our bedroom. I'm surprised when I find it empty. I walk slowly over to her guest room, I twist the door handle, it's locked. I knock on the door a couple of times, waiting for her to answer. I can hear her inside, she's crying. My heart races and breaks again for her. My protective side is begging to be let out and stop all the pain and fear she is feeling.

Talking through the door in a loud but hushed tone I try to get her to open the door. 'Baby, open the door. Everything's going to be fine, I promise.' Nothing, other than her soft sobs. She isn't moving, she must be on the bed or something. I move down and sit on the floor next to the door. I continue to knock on the door and speak to her through the door trying everything to get her to unlock it.

Chris and Tyler are walking up the stairs, they stop when they see me against her door. They share a look and then walk over to me, sitting down on the other side of the hall against the railing. Together we wait for her.

Skylar POV.

I've been in my room for half an hour crying and listening to sad songs on repeat. The song 'One Day' by Tate McRae is playing at the moment and it is ripping my heart and soul from my body. Do you ever listen to a song and just relate to it on a deep level? My mind keeps thinking about the possibility of loosing Bryan. It's stupid to be putting so much loss on something that should be a celebration but my anxiety and the words from my old manager are ringing inside my head. Thomas (my old manager) had told me that some people would never understand what it's like to have fame and even those you think love you will leave you behind. He some other really nasty things that I am not going to repeat but lets just say they tore me apart. I push up from the wall and walk over to the bed sitting on the edge grabbing a tissue. I wipe under my eyes and blow my nose. I unplug my headphones from my phone and the music fills the room. I look around the big room, my eyes falling on the first hoodie I wore of Bryan's. I take off my clothes and slip into his hoodie, feeling a little more at ease. It's in this sad and scary moment that I start to realise how much I care for him.

The door rattles and then I hear his voice. 'Baby, please open the door. We all just want to talk.' I stumble over to the door and slide down against the wall beside the door. 'I can't do this right now guys, I have to sort some things out.'

Bryan: I'm not leaving this door until you let me in kitten.

Chris & Tyler: Neither are we. Come on just let us in 5 minutes.

Skylar: I'll speak with Chris but no-one else. You have to promise me that you want force yourselves inside if I open the door.

Bryan: If that's what you want baby. I promise.

Tyler: Fine.

Chris: They've stepped away from the door Cookie. Let me in.

I take a deep breath and unlock the door. I open it slowly and peek outside. Bryan and Tyler are leaning against the far wall while Chris is standing close to the door. He steps inside and I make eye contact with Tyler and Chris, my heart breaking and fresh tears falling. The sadness of their faces are matching mine, except I have puffy eyes and makeup down my face. I force myself to look away, closing and locking the door once more.

POV BRYAN

It tore my heart apart when Skylar wanted to talk to Chris and not me. I could hear the pain in her voice which was the only reason I did as she asked. All of this was hitting her the hardest and no matter how much I wanted to hold her in my arms I had to have self control, Sky was vulnerable now. I just hope Chris can help her understand that she doesn't need to worry about losing any of us we are all here to stay.
