Dr Thomas

It's been twenty minutes since I told Quinn and it's getting easier to speak about what happened. I still need to tell Bryan but I have time before I do that. I hear a knock on the bedroom door followed by Bryan's concerned voice 'babe, we have a doctor here from the front desk. He said you called for one?' I shout back 'Yeah, can you send him in. I'll explain later.' A few moments later and I hear the door open again following by the doctor I walk out into the main room and explain the situation.

Skylar: Thanks for coming Dr, my friend has had an accident and I think she's broke her wrist.

Dr Thomas: Okay, where is your friend?

Skylar: She's in the bathroom, we wanted to try and clean up some of the blood. You can follow me.

I take him into the bathroom and he examines Quinn's hand. He confirms that its broken and she will need to be taken to the emergency room.

Dr Thomas: I am heading back to the hospital now so I can take you in get a plaster put on that wrist within an hour if you wanted?

Quinn: Only if you don't mind. Can I bring someone with me?

Dr Thomas: Of course.

Skylar: Could I have a moment with you doctor outside?

Dr Thomas: Of course.

I close the bathroom door on Quinn and walk deeper into the bedroom.

Dr Thomas: How can I help you Miss Rivers?

Skylar: I was in an assault last not it was physical but not sexual like rape or anything but I wondered if you could check to see if I have any bruises.....

Dr Thomas: If that's what you need then of course. It's part of my job.

I lift up my dress past my hips, I turn my side to face him and he looks down. I follow his gaze and see the aggressive dark purple, yellow and black marks against my skin.

Dr Thomas: Those are some serious cuts and bruises. I don't think you have anything broken or anything that will require stiches but they are sever as far as the bruising goes. Keep an eye on them, they should fade in a few weeks. 

Skylar: Thanks Dr Thomas.

Dr Thomas, Quinn and Dom all leave for the emergency room. Dom's not happy about the situation but he understands why Quinn behaved the way that she did. While they are at the hospital I spend some alone time with Bryan, I walk him through what happened the night before and he told me what he had done. I should be annoyed, angry even that he punched Jaden but I wasn't. It surprised me but I know that Bryan was just trying to protect me and show him and anyone else who dares to hurt me or try to come between us that they won't be successful. I have come to learn that Mr Bryan Williams and the other boys are hella protective of each other and their families. 

Since Bryan and I became official and my friendships grew with the boys I knew that they would all have my back just like I do for them. The only thing we differ on is the whole 'Ride or Die' belief. Quinn and I since the very start of our friendship have always seen the other as family a bond much thicker than blood. We knew that no matter what happened in life or wherever life took us that if one of us needed the other we would drop everything and go to them. Ride & Die wasn't only for when we needed back up or support but it was a promise to never leave the other. We are together until the very end. There has been many a times in my past with Quinn where I have been arrested or had to pull some strings to stop her getting arrested and having a record, we might not sound the type of people but we really do have a dangerous side. It sadness me a little that only Bryan and Chris out of the boys understand just how important having someone who would 'Ride or Die' for you is. I guess they understand it because they have and will always be their for one another not only because they are brothers but because they are friends too. I'm lucky that I have Quinn and that my boyfriend understands the importance, I know without any doubt that Bryan will always side beside me and fight for me just like I will for him. 

Between us I'm scared that Dom's not going to understand just how important it is to Quinn to have someone in her life other than me who understands 'Ride or Die'. I want her to have someone who will always be their for her, who will fight for her when she can't, someone who will accept everything about her includes her faults and insecurities - we don't talk about those but we all have them. I guess what I'm saying is I will be watching him and seeing if he can do that for her....
