Bestie Date - Chris Williams

Chris and I left the villa at 5am this morning to prepare and arrive on time for our bestie date. After everyone rejected Chris on his idea of going in a submarine to see some shipwrecks I jumped at the offer. Not only do I get to spend the day with one of my best friends but we can finally put everything that happened yesterday behind us and just live in the moment and have fun. Plus who doesn't love a bit of history?

It feels like forever since just Chris and I have hung out and honestly I've really missed it. Chris has such a kind and cheerful
Soul that makes you want to be around him and yet since I've been working on my music and moving out of the main house I haven't really hung out with him as much.

I know that its my fault, all the free and spare time I have had between recording, photo shoots or writing for my blog I have spent with Bryan or Quinn because Bryans been with Chris.

But that is all going to change, being apart from them all and then being here as made me realise how important they all are and Chris and I need these bestie dates, especially when he is feeling so pushed aside at the moment.

We are are currently sitting on a bench signing and reading through the last few documents we have to complete before we can get on with our day. Legal formalities like if one of us gets hurt we won't sue them etc.
Once I have finished mine I turn to look at Chris 'On a scale of 1-10 how excited are you cause I'm a solid 9.' He signs the last paper and then looks up at me with the biggest smile I have ever seen 'I'm an 11. I have always wanted to do this.' I shove him on the shoulder and take his papers from him getting up and handing them over to our guide. She checks then and then signals us to follow another guide down the pier towards the bright yellow submarine. Chris climbs on board first and then offers me his hand to help steady me and make it easier to climb on board too. We climb down the ladder into the submarine and take our seats.

Ten minutes later we are slowly submerging beneath the surface and heading deeper and deeper into the ocean. The water around us slowly getting darker and darker as we go down. I look over to Chris and interlock his hand with mine for comfort as I suddenly feel a little anxiety in my chest. He looks over to me and raises an eyebrow 'If you ever tell Bryan that I told you this I will deny it. But ever since he got me to watch 'The Meg' I have slowly been concerned about one actually being real and right now I feel like one is just going to pop out.'We've never seen the full scale of the ocean so how do we know they are actually extinct?' Chris chuckles at me and shakes him head. Even though he is playing it cool I know that he is thinking about what I'd said and if it was still a possibility. He doesn't say anything else to me instead he let's me hold his hand for my own comfort. Confirming yet another reason as to why he is my best friend . I look up from my lap and over to Chris who is laughing silently at me.

I shake my head and then bump his shoulder with mine before whispering 'Don't laugh at me it isn't funny.' Chris shakes his head and laughs again 'Come on Sky, admit it is a little funny.' I shake my head and then pout looking back out the wide glass window in front of us. I mumble under my breath 'Wasn't funny for you when you got freaked out over Scar in the Lion King!'

Chris nudges me like I had just done to him but I ignore him focusing on the darkness in front of us as we continue to sink deeper into the ocean. 'I was only teasing Cookie' Chris whines from beside me. I glance in his direction from the corner of my eye, he is now pouting at me with puppy dog eyes. I smile tugs my lips and then I burst out laughing soon Chris joins me and we enjoy ourselves my fears of the ocean around us fading away.

Chris 'So are you looking forward to your anniversary? You have less than 24 hours until you hit the 1 year milestone'

Skylar 'Yeah, I'm not really sure what we are doing but knowing B it will be fun.'
