Moving Out Day

We head into the house, and then on into the living room where we find Bryan, Mel and the boys sitting on the sofa chatting. 'Honey were home.' I say as we each take a seat. I laugh at the look Bryan gives me as I walk into the room. I watch as Chris plops down beside Tyler stealing the cap of Tyler's head and putting it on his own. Bryan is sat in the arm chair in the corner of the room, I go over to him and sit down on his lap. Leaning down close to his ear and lowering voice to just a whisper I ask him I lean into him  'Are you ready?' I'd already told him about what Chris had said at the beach but Bryan still wanted to love ahead with this plan to tells the boys he was moving out. As much as he didn't want to hurt or upset anyone he also didn't want to hold himself back from his happiness. He nods in response to my question before whispering back 'No time like the present.'

Bryan clears his throat pulling everyone's attention to him, Stopping all of the conversations that had once filled the room. I break away from Bryan's eyes and let my eyes drift around the room until I land on Mel. Our eyes lock and she gives me a reassuring smile and nod. Letting me know that she supports this decision and we have nothing to worry about especially when it comes to our contracts with the house. Mel has always been such a caring and kind soul and deep down I knew she wouldn't do anything about this but I always felt like I needed her approval. Maybe it's because she's the only Mother figure I've really had.

Bryan: Guy's I have something I'd like to tell you. Well, it's actually something Sky and I have to tell you.

Oh lord, your not pregnant are you? Tyler shouts in both concern and excitement. My eyes goes wide like saucers and I try to process what Tyler had just said. When my brain to mouth filters starts to work again I reply in shock back to him 'Hell No, I am way too young to be thinking about kids right now. Also I don't think Bryan is ready to be a dad just yet.' I look away from Tyler to Bryan who is watching me, his eyes cloudy with a hit of amusement. I can see the smirk he is trying to hide, we both know that what I said about kids is true for the both of us right now. We both look away from one another and back to the group where Chris asks us in an annoyed tone 'So what is it?'

I roll my eyes and smile while Bryan takes a moment to think about how he is going to handle to situation, especially now that it was Chris taking lead on asking all of the questions.

Bryan: Sky and I have decided to take the next step in our relationship.

Chris: Which Is?

Irritated by the constant interruptions from Chris, Dom cuts Chris off, his own frustrations clear in his voice 'If you'd stop interrupting him them we'd all know by now. Just be quite and let the man speak.' Chris slouches back into the sofa his arms across his chest in defeat. Dom looks over to me and winks - of course he already knows as he's been helping me but he's playing along so it doesn't upset any of the others.

Bryan: Sky asked me to move in with her a couple of days ago and I said yes.

Dom: It's about time - you spend the majority of your time their anyways.

Bryan: Thanks Brother.

Tyler: Congratulations guys - you both deserve to be happy.

Skylar: Thanks Ty

Tristan: Does this mean I can have your room?

Mel: No it doesn't Tristan.

The whole room goes silent and we all turn our attention to Chris, one of the most important people I. This room. His whole body is crunches together, his mouth is open and his eyes hold nothing but hurt and betrayal in them. I think this is going to be a lot worse than either of us expected. Maybe we should have waited a little longer. I pulled out of my thoughts when Chris starts speaking the pain in his voice is light having a knife slice into my heart a thousand times. I take Bryan's hand in mine knowing whatever Chris is about to say is going to hurt him more than it can hurt me. 'Your leaving me? Is that what today was about Sky? I actually don't believe the two of you! You spent the whole day with me and said nothing! First you leave Sky and now my own brother is leaving!!!'
