I stayed all day.

1:45 In the morning.

I sat, leaning on the police station wall outside, holding a cigarette in my hand, debating if I should light it or not.

I leaned my head back, closing my eyes to the sound of cars passing by, and other noises throughout the city while twisting the cigarette between my fingers.

I flicked my lighter on, putting the cigarette in my mouth and lighting it. I inhale the smoke, blowing it out slowly.

Connor opened the door. I turned my head, looking up at him.

"Y/N? I thought you went home awhile ago." He said, walking over to me.

"Nope. Still here." I say as I take the cigarette out of my mouth.

Connor sat down next to me, staring at me.

I could feel his eyes on me.

"What?" I ask tiredly, putting the cigarette back between my lips.

"Your stress levels are high. What's bothering you?" He asks.

"What's not bothering me?" I say, closing my eyes, flicking the cigarette away, and putting it out with my shoe.

"You shouldn't be smoking." Connor says.

"You're right, and I know. I smoke when I cant stop thinking." I say.

"What have you been thinking about?" Conner asks, still looking at me.

I stayed quiet.

I was thinking about Connor.

Thinking about when he died.

When he was in my room.

I couldn't be possibly falling for my own Android.

I scoffed a little to my own thoughts.

"What's funny?" Connor asks with a slight smile.

"You know Connor, I genuinely hate Androids. But you? I like you Connor." I say with a sigh, turning my head to look at him.

Connor turned his head, looking at the city with me.

"I like you too Y/N." He finally says.

I laugh a little. "Yeah I'm sure you do."

"What do you mean by that?" He asks.

"Before you were shot, I was...not kind to you. And regret saying mean things about you." I say, shrugging.

"...Well I'm glad I can change your mind about how you see Androids." He says.

"Think you can change Hanks mind too?" I say with a smile.

For the first time I saw him smile, really smile.

"He's hard to read." Connor says.

"You're right." I say, exhaling deeply.

We sat in silence. I turned my head, looking at Connor.

He turned his too, looking at me.

My hand moved up, my finger tips running against his LED and down to the side of his face.

The light flickered yellow before turning blue.

"Your stabilized." I finally say, looking at it.

"You know your colors." Connor says.

I laugh, moving my hand off of him and turning my head back, facing the street. Connor stood up, offering his hand.

I took it as he helped me up.

"Goodnight, Detective." He said before walking away.

"Wait-" I said, grabbing his arm.

He looked at me in confusion. "What is it?" He asked.

I looked up at him before putting my arms around him, hugging him tightly. His body was stiff, not knowing how to react to the hug.

".... D-Detective?" He asks quietly after a few seconds, slowly pulling away from the hug.

"You." I say.

"What?" He asks, looking at me confused.

"You are what I've been thinking about."
