*tris's pov*
I was so nervous of it being the wrong door, or even worse of her not opening it.

But she did, she opened it and I smiled so much as I got relieved.

*Ruby's pov*
I was so shocked to see Tris outside, I opened the door.

This was a dream, clearly.

Of course in real life he wouldn't care about me enough to come. He probably even forgot about my existence.

He was just like the others who left me, but I was still thankful because at least I was still alive because of him.

Tris hugged me as soon as I opened the door. "This is a dream isn't it?" I asked, becoming teary eyed.

"No it's not, I am really here" He started playing with my hair, I think he kind of understood how I was feeling

"I am sorry for being an asshole I missed you" he added and kissed my hair.

This was real life? woah, I was happy but at the same time I didnt know how to feel because we didnt even talk for weeks.

Gosh, did he know what he was doing to me? I was in love with him.

I was so in love with him that it hurt. He was never going to love me or break up with Sarah, no matter how toxic she was.

I didnt even know how to forgive him, or why he was here.
