It was the first day of the rest of Adam Almeida's life. The day Adam began his General Surgery Internship program at Tremblay Hospital, one of the top teaching hospitals in Metro Vancouver. Adam was used to adversity, being thrown out of his homophobic parents' house at eighteen, going to university on the other side of the country, putting himself through uni and medical school all on his own while navigating a new city and making a life for himself along the way. But little did l know, that his life was about to get very, very complicated.

Enter Dr. Dylan Messina. He's gorgeous, arrogant, and a damn good surgeon; and he's also the resident Adam is assigned to for his internship. Will these two be able to maintain their professional relationship, or will the undeniable sparks they feel for each other start to get in the way?
