Alexandra walked down the hallway and paused in front of Davina's room. She couldn't hear any movement from inside so decided against knocking and just continued her way into the study. She noticed Hayley sitting in a chair and Elijah standing in front of the coffee table, looking as dashing as ever in his perfectly pressed button up and trousers.

Alexandra found herself staring for longer then she'd care to admit and Elijah noticed causing a smirk to raise to his lips.

"What's happening?" Alexandra asked walking further into the room. She looked down at the coffee table and gasped at the drawings. "Oh, my god. Isn't that..." Alexandra started and Elijah hummed in agreement.

"Indeed. The Italians call them strega. The Yoruba of West Africa call them aje, meaning mother. Where my mother was from, they called them hexa, and here we call them witch. Over the centuries, vampires have fought them and fought beside them, bedded them and burned them. Whether adversary or ally, they have been a force to be reckoned with. Their ancestral magic anchors this city. There's never been one all-powerful witch until Davina." Elijah explained while placing his hands on his hips. Alexandra's eyes stayed wide as she continued to gape at the images. Davina drew them, but why was the question that invaded everyone's mind.

"Who is now tucked in safe and sound down the hall under my protection." Niklaus spoke as he strided into the room. He stepped beside Alexandra and sent her a dramatic wink, to which the witch rolled her eyes at. Niklaus then glanced down at the drawings himself with a smirk. "Your Celeste was quite beautiful and a portent of evil according to our volatile artist in residence." Alexandra sniffled a laugh before sending Elijah an apologetic look. He looked almost amused by her laughter.

"Yes. Perhaps Davina's mistaken what she calls evil for power. Celeste was certainly very powerful in her day, but she's been dead for over 200 years. I don't understand. Why all these sketches now?" Elijah asked as he sat down on the lounge, his eyes never leaving the drawings. Alexandra stayed standing and crossed her arms again in thought.

"Why does any witch do anything?" Niklaus asked as he too sat down. Alexandra leaned over and slapped the back of his head sending him a glare. There was a shattering sound and Alex turned her head knowing it was Davina. "Well, that's going well."

Alexandra rolled her eyes and again went to slap him, instead this time he caught her wrist. "Marcel has never yelled at her before, she's just hurt. Maybe an apology would help the situation." Alexandra spat while yanking her wrist from Niklaus's hold. He rolled his eyes.

"If you were trying to win the girl's trust, perhaps trying to control her was not the most splendid idea." Elijah added. Alexandra nodded in agreement before Niklaus rolled his eyes.

"Are there anymore bad decision's you'd like to wave in my face?" Niklaus asked. Alexandra laughed and sent Elijah a look as if asking if he was being serious. Elijah shrugged.
