Elijah woke up the following morning and smiled as his eyes locked on Alexandra's sleeping body. He watched her sleep as minutes turned to hours waiting for her to wake up.

He moved his hand and slowly moved a piece of her hair behind her ear smiling again as he did so. God he was so happy with her by his side. He didn't know what he'd do if she ever left him. His life wouldn't be the same without her.

Elijah moved the blanket slightly, Alexandra had her arm resting over her stomach. He grabbed it softly, moving it out of the way and started leaving a trail of kisses down her stomach and then back up.

Alexandra stirred slightly, consciousness finding her slowly. She let out a small moan as Elijah moved his lips to her neck, sucking her sweet spot gently. He pulled away and smiled as Alexandra finally opened her eyes.

"Good morning, darling." Elijah whispered. Alexandra smiled brightly, bringing a hand up to wipe the sleep from her eyes.

"Good morning 'lijah." Alexandra whispered back. Elijah leant on his elbow and watched her stretch before she looked back at him again. "What?"

Elijah shook his head, "Nothing. You're just so beautiful." Elijah said. Alexandra blushed lightly and smacked his shoulder. There was a knock at their door and Elijah signed before getting up and walking over to it. "How can we help you Hayley?"

"Jackson isn't answering his phone. He was meant to be back ages ago." Hayley explained. Alexandra slowly started getting up while Elijah asked Hayley to give them a moment and they'd be out. He closed the door again before Alex stood up and they both got ready for the day.

Hayley, Alexandra and Elijah all stood in the study. Hayley was anxiously waiting for Jackson to return as Elijah pulled his phone from his pocket and called Niklaus. "Yes, brother, what is it?" Nikalus asked as he answered the phone. Alex sent Elijah a look, as if telling him to put it on speaker, so he did.

"It appears our wolves have gone astray, brother." Elijah replied, annoyance laced in his voice.

Hayley cut in quickly, "They should have been back hours ago."

"We need to find them." Alexandra concluded, crossing her arms over her chest.

"Well, that might be a bit tricky. You see, we've located their car on a back road in the middle of nowhere. I suspect they've been shanghai'd." Niklaus explained, causing everyone else to roll their eyes in annoyance that he hadn't informed them earlier.

"And you didn't feel the need to share this information?" Elijah asked in reply. Niklaus chuckled and Alex knew he was shrugging.

"It was my intention to present you with a problem only after I had found an appropriate solution. I didn't want to interrupt 'soulmate' time." Niklaus joked. Alexandra blushed a deep shade of pink, while Elijah smirked and Hayley let out a chuckle.

"Oh shut up." Alexandra whispered. Elijah raised an eyebrow at her, and she just looked away from him.

"Do enlighten us." Elijah asked.

"I'm closing in on it as we speak. The only person who would be bold enough to snatch my wolf allies is the one who has the most to lose." Niklaus explained causing Elijah to roll his eyes in realization.

"Marcel." Elijah mumbled with a sign. Hayley's eyes widened, scared for her knew found family.

"No, he'll kill them!" Hayley shirked.

"Genevieve assures me that Marcel has procured a cloaking spell. The only witch who will aid Marcel is Davina. I just need to get one last bit of leverage before I pay her a visit." Niklaus explained and Alexandra's eyes widened at her sisters name.

"Don't hurt her Niklaus." Alexandra growled as she snatched the phone from Elijah's hand. Worry overcoming her, not knowing what Niklaus had planned.

"And there it is." Niklaus said, ignoring Alexandra's plea and hanging up.

Elijah looks at the phone before glancing at Alexandra. "He won't hurt her." Elijah spoke calmly. Alex signed and nodded hoping he was right. He kissed her forehead before leaving the compound to find Niklaus and help get the other werewolves back.

An hour passes and Hayley was pacing around the study, while Alexandra sat on the couch, her eyes never leaving her phone. Genevieve had at some point arrived for some unknown reason and just stood to the side, watching both girls in envy. "Elijah should have called by now." Hayley stated looking over Alexandra's shoulder at her phone before signing.

"Worrying isn't going to help. You should sit down, try to keep calm." Genevieve expressed calmly. Hayley sent her a glare, as if saying not to tell her what she should do.

"What are you, now, magician slash zen-life-coach?" Alexandra asked, her eyes not moving from the coffee table in front of her as Hayley chuckled.

"The treatment of pregnant women has advanced remarkably since I was a nurse, but even I know high blood pressure is bad for you, and your baby. Especially now, since you're so close to term." Genevieve explained. Hayley signed and paced a little more. Alexandra finally I raised her head and looked at Hayley.

"She's right." Alexandra said and Hayley sent her a playful glare before plopping down beside the younger witch.

"I hate this. I feel completely useless." Hayley stated and Alexandra hummed in agreement. Genevieve eyed the two girls in envy and jealousy.

"Don't you get it? You're the point of all this. Klaus and Elijah running all over town?" Genevieve started, causing both girls to look up at her. She let out a sign, "It's all for you, both of you honestly. I'm a bit envious." Genevieve said. Hayley and I glanced at each other, knowing it was true.

"Great. Lucky me." Hayley mumbled sarcastically. Alexandra laughed and nodded in agreement.

"Is there anything I can get you?" Genevieve asked, and Alex looked up at her like the question she asked was stupid. She knew exactly what Hayley wanted, although she couldn't give it to her.

"How about a moonlight ring?" Hayley asked and Alexandra signed. She raised her arm and wrapped it around Hayley's shoulder in a comforting way.

Genevieve chuckles, thinking that Hayley is just joking. "The spell can't be performed until the full moon reaches its apex. And, of course, I need the stones, which will be here soon enough. Have a little faith!" Genevieve stated. Hayley and Alexandra both look at her, unconvinced before they looked at each other and stood up, leaving the room.

Alexandra decided that if Elijah wasn't going to call them, she'd call him instead. She raised her phone and quickly dialed Elijah's number, placing it on speaker for both girls.

"Impeccable timing darling." Elijah spoke as he answered the phone. Alexandra rolled her eyes at his joking behavior.

"What's going on?" Alexandra and Hayley asked at the same time. They both looked at each other and chuckled.

"Jackson is fine. He's...a little tied up right now. Can we call you back?" Elijah explained. There was a pause before the sound of wood breaking came through the phone.

"No you cannot call us back. What's happening?" Alexandra pressed. Elijah signed and again remained silent.

"Oh, that doesn't bode well." Niklaus's voice spoke faintly in the background. Hayley looked up at Alexandra concerned.

"Are you trying to kill us?" Jackson yelled which caused the girls to worry even more.

"Elijah, tell me what's going on, now!" Hayley exclaimed. There was again silence as the young girls questions remained unanswered. A second goes by before the sound of a huge explosion goes off. Hayley and Alex having heard the explosion both looked at each other with wide eyes, terrified.
