Alexandra and Davina hadn't separated, they couldn't. Alex was afraid that if she let her go that she'd disappear again. Davina needed the comfort of her sister, what she experienced on the other side was traumatizing for a young person. Marcel had walked out of the room to call Rebekah while the two Claire witches sat against the bed headboard silently.

"I'm here 'vina." Alexandra whispered softly into the younger witches hair. Davina nodded slowly and just gripped Alex tighter then before. Marcel re-entered the room a couple minutes later, a box occupying his hands.

"Hey, D, how you feelin'? Got you some stuff--" Marcel stated as he entered the room, placing the box down on the small table before pulling out random things. "Organic soap, and scented candles, some incense. Just trying to help you get back to feeling, you know, yourself." Marcel continued but Davina remained silent as she stared off at the wall. "Word on the street is, the witches are celebrating. Three out of the four girls sacrificed in the Harvest have come back. First, it was your friend, Monique, and then another girl, now you. What I hear, the others are saying that the ancestors were with them while they were, uh, dead. You know, talking to them, teaching them. They say they're stronger than ever. Was it like that for you?"

Alexandra turned her head to look at Davina, she gave her hand a comforting squeeze as if to tell her she didn't have to talk about it if she didn't want to. Davina shook her head as tears rose in her eyes. "No, there was nothing. It was cold, empty, and dark. And it went on forever." Davina expressed.

Marcel stepped forward and sat on the edge of the bed with a frown. "I'm sorry, D."

"I don't want to talk about it. Please, Marcel, don't make me." Davina pleaded. Alexandra brought her closer and shushed her softly.

"It's okay 'vina. You don't have to." Alexandra whispered into the girls hair. Alex nodded towards Marcel and he took the gesture as a sign for him to leave. The Claire witches again fell silent for a couple of moments before Davina decided to confine in her sister.

"I died. And at first, I was alone, but then I heard them. Voices, whispering to me." Davina started to speak. Alexandra pulled away from her slightly and watched as the tears fell from her eyes.

"Who?" Alexandra asked concern and anger obvious in her eyes.

"The ancestors. They're so angry with me. I used my power against my own, and they said they'd do horrible things to me if I misuse my magic again." Davina cried and Alex again brought her sister into her arms. Davina pulled back and looked at her sister in the eyes before signing. "They said they would do horrible things to you if you continue to help the Mikaelson's."

Alexandra's eyes widened at the information given to her. Silence befell upon them again before Davina stood up and leaned against the wall, looking out upon the streets of New Orleans. "We could run away? Just you and me." Alexandra stated firmly. Davina let out a chuckle and turned to look at her eldest sister.

"The witches aren't just gonna let me go. They're not done with me or you." Davina stated with furrowed eye brows. Alexandra stood up and stepped in front of her before shrugging.

"No one can control you unless you let them." Alexandra expressed. Davina rolled her eyes at her sisters positive nature, although she missed it, it wasn't helping.

"How do I even know who to trust? Should I trust Marcel? The first thing he did when I came back was try to use me again to help Rebekah." Davina asked as she stepped away from Alexandra. She signed and nodded.

"I know, you can trust me. You can always trust me. I want to help you." Alexandra expressed as she stepped closer and gripped Davina's hands giving them a light squeeze. Davina signed and pulled her hands from Alexandra's grip.

"What can you do? When I came back, the voices I heard, they said the only ones who could help me are the witches. But, after what I did to them, they hate me. So, how can I go back and ask for their help now?" Davina yelled in anger and sadness. Alexandra paused not knowing how to respond. Davina nodded before climbing back onto the bed and Alexandra followed her. She soothed her head before Davina fell into a peaceful slumber. A couple hours passed and the bright blue sky turned dark as the moon replaced the sun.

Marcel entered the attic and Alex looked up sending him a soft smile. "How is she?" Marcel asked. Alex looked down at Davina and signed.

"Depressed. What ever the ancestor's did to her really messed her up." Alexandra explained. Marcel nodded and a look of guilt flashed over his features. "What do we do?"

"I could take her back to her people." Marcel express and Alex quickly stood up, shaking her head in disbelief.

"What? No way!" Alexandra exclaimed in anger.

"There are bigger things going on here, Alex. It's the only chance that she has." Marcel whisper-yelled back. Alexandra continued to shake her head.

"Those people hate her. They will never accept her fully." Alexandra tried to explain but Marcel wasn't listening to anything she had to say.

"I'm not asking for permission." Marcel stated before leaving again. Alexandra signed and sat back down on Davina's bed, soothing her head again. A couple minutes past and a pair of heels clicked on the floor as a new figure entered the room. Alex looked up and raised her eyebrow looking at Rebekah confused.

"Rebekah, what are you doing here?" Alexandra asked as she stood up and took a couple of steps towards the original.

"I came to say good-bye." Rebekah breathed out while shoving her hands into her jumper pockets. Alexandra crossed her arms.

"What happened to us girls sticking together?" Alexandra asked while looking at the wall before glancing back at Rebekah. She smiled and shrugged softly.

"Well, Nik and I came to a sort of all-or-nothing arrangement. I leave town for good, and he allows me to. Can't pass that up." Rebekah explained. Alex nodded before glancing back at Davina to insure she was still sleeping.

"A thousand years with Klaus? I guess you deserve a few vacation days." Alexandra said letting out a small laugh. Rebekah chuckled along side her before she became serious once again.

"Listen. Elijah sacrifices everything in the name of this family, make sure he doesn't sacrifice you. At the end of the day he would chose you over all of us and that's okay. It's about time we all started fending for ourselves and stop relying on him. He loves you and I can see you love him so when it's time for me to return I expect a wedding." Rebekah expressed and Alex laughed quietly again. She opened her arms and stepped forward, hugging her tightly. They stayed in each others arms for a moment before Alex pulled back.

"You know, you can always come back and visit. I've been known to keep a secret or two from Klaus." Alexandra stated. Rebekah smiled brightly and nodded.

"Ensure that you tell my niece stories about her crazy aunt Beks." Rebekah said. Alexandra nodded before Rebekah turned and left the room again. Alexandra grabbed a blanket and threw it over Davina before leaving the room and heading down stairs. She sat down in one of the church pews basking in her thoughts. A couple minutes passed before a figure sat down beside her, she knew straight away it was Elijah. Alex tilted her head and rested it on his shoulder.

"I'm sorry about Rebekah." Alexandra whispered while Elijah gripped her hand and lifted it to his lips, placing a soft kiss upon her palm.

"Her leave is better then death." Elijah replied. Alex hummed in agreement before they continued to sit in silence. Neither of them spoke, even though Elijah wanted to ask about Davina he chose not to as they just found comfort in each others presence.
