In the streets of New Orleans, Elijah and Sabine were walking as Sabine gave him a 'tour' of the town."So this next part of town is one of the few areas where any of the original French architecture remains. The most of the buildings were destroyed in the seventeen hundreds when the city burned for the first time. Am I putting you to sleep?" Sabine explained as they came to a stop in the middle of the street, looking up at the buildings surrounding them. She turned and looked towards Elijah and he glanced up at her.
"As surprising as you might find this, it's not every day that someone asks you to betray your own brother... Celeste." Elijah stated firmly as he turned his body around and looked Sabine/Celeste in the eye. The frown on her lips slowly tilted upright into a shy smirk.
"How did you know?" Celeste asked. Elijah shrugged and started to explain how he had figured it all out.

On the other side of town, by the front doors of the church, Alexandra had just walked to the doors. Although, before she could open it there were footsteps behind her that caught her attention. She turned and frowned seeing Bastiana.
"Bastiana?" Alexandra questioned confused. She took a step closer to her and frowned in confusion. "How?"
"My sweet child, how far you have fallen. You need to be taught a lesson for siding with vampires." Bastiana exclaimed. She raised her hands and Alexandra fell to the ground screaming in pain. A moment passed before she passed out on the ground. Bastiana stepped forward and picked her up before walking away from the church and into the darkness of the streets.

Back over the other side of town, Elijah is crouching on the ground, his breathing heavily as he touched his lips.
"You poisoned me with a kiss. At least you haven't lost your sense of irony." Elijah stated as he squinted his eyes. His thoughts were running wild yet they only thing that stood out was, Alexandra. He wondered if she had felt the kiss, and he'd hoped she hadn't.
"We may have time for more. But first I'm going to cure you of your greatest flaw – this absurd devotion to your lunatic family." Celeste continued as Elijah loosened his tie, sweat now dripping from his forehead as the world continued to spin around him.
"Your anger is with me. Now, if you have come here seeking revenge–" Elijah started, worry and fear for his family, for Alexandra overwhelming him. He never should have broken up with her, it was his biggest regret. Elijah longed to just hold her again.
"Oh, I'll have my revenge. Starting with Klaus. He is gonna know pain and torment like he's never felt before. Unless you choose to save him, of course. But then that leaves Rebekah, your tragic sister. She's about to find herself in quite the predicament. You could save her. But then that leaves Hayley in jeopardy. Your brothers child, the Mikaelson legacy. Oh and lets not forget about that precious soulmate of yours...what was her name? right, Alexandra." Celeste started, checking off the names of everyone he cared about. Elijah's eyes widened at her name and the fact that Celeste knew she was his soulmate.
Elijah shook his head as he tried to pull himself together. "No. No, no..."
"Poor girl. She has no idea how dangerous it is to be loved by you. Oh well. With your body weakened by my spell, you won't be able to save them all. You'll recover with just enough time to choose one. Who will it be? I can't wait to find out." Celeste smiled before she started to walk away, leaving Elijah a trembling mess on the pavement. There was only one name on his mind, he knew he had to save her but he also knew he had to save Hayley and the baby first. Tears rose in his eyes as he thought about his soulmate, he didn't want her to suffer. He had a choice to make and damn was it going to destroy him.
