After hearing the explosion, both girls walked back up into the study to see Genevieve gone. They both started pacing, Alexandra was scared about the shape they'd all return in. Hayley on the other hand was scared that none of them made it out. A couple minutes passed before Elijah, Niklaus and Jackson all walked into the room. They were all disheveled and covered in ash, Jackson looking the worst of the three.
"Thank god you're alive!" Hayley exclaimed, rushing forward and hugging Jackson. She looked over, her eyes on Niklaus as she whispered a 'thank you.' Alexandra stood up from the couch and jumped into Elijah's arms.
"Don't ever do something like that again." Alexandra whispered into Elijah's ear as she pulled him closer to her. He chuckled and nodded into her hair before they pulled back and Alex quickly pecked his lips.
"I'm fine, too, thanks for asking." Niklaus spoke sarcastically. Alexandra scoffed and stepped in front of him, hugging him tightly.
"I'm happy you are alright Nikky." Alexandra stated. Niklaus growled while Elijah sniffled a laugh. Hayley had moved Jackson to the lounge, checking over his injuries before glancing back at the Mikaelson brothers.
"What about the stones?" Hayley asked, hopefulness in her voice that they had the stones. Elijah and Alex walked across the room, Elijah's arm still wrapped around Alexandra's waist.
"Scattered across the bed of the Mississippi, I'd imagine." Elijah signed out. Alexandra rubbed his back, soothing the annoyance and anger he was feeling. She could feel him getting ready to explode, yet her touch calmed him instantly.
Niklaus picked up the bourbon and poured himself a glass. "Marcel's not a fool. He knows an empowered werewolf army would mean the end of vampires in New Orleans. The explosion is his way of saying he means to prevent that. For all the good it'll do him." Niklaus expressed and Alexandra scoffed, nodding towards Jackson.
"Well, it did him pretty damn well, didn't it?" Alexandra exclaimed sending Jackson an apologetic look. Hayley nodded in agreement with the witch as Elijah tightened his grip on Alexandra, calming her.
"This is my fault. I'll find a way to fix it." Jackson said confidently, still wincing in pain as he moved slightly on the couch. Hayley gripped his shoulder and rubbed it affectionately.
"No, Jack, you're hurt. No one's blaming you." Hayley spoke softly, reassuring the werewolf. Alexandra nodded and sent Jackson a kind smile.
"I'm blaming you!" Niklaus stated causing Hayley to turn her head and glare at him. "Those stones will be hard to replace. Fortunately, I always have a backup plan." Niklaus finished, his lips curling upwards into an evil smile. Everyone watched him confused as he turned and left the room. Quickly, Alex and Elijah were behind him, followed by Hayley. As they all walked out of the study and looked down into the foyer, Francesca walked into the compound with five other men. Alexandra's eyes widened and she scoffed.
"You can't seriously mean her! She's a gangster!" Hayley expressed as they walked down the balcony towards the stairs. Alexandra laughed softly at the werewolf's comment.
"I see her more as a means of procuring rare items at short notice." Niklaus contradicted. They all stomped down the stairs and Niklaus placed a bright smile on his lips as he greeted the human fraction. "Greetings, Ms. Correa! I see you've brought company."
"These are my brothers. I always include them in delicate business matters." Francesca expressed before gesturing to them and moving her hand to point at Niklaus. "Fellas, meet Mr. Mikaelson."
"Please, call me Klaus. All my friends do." Niklaus replied locking his hands together behind his back. Alexandra rolled her eyes as she crossed her arms standing just behind Elijah on the stairs.
