Alexandra stood next to Davina in the attic of the church as Marcel walked in. Davina wanted to go out tonight and even though she asked Alex, she knew she still needed Marcel's permission.

"Tonight's the annual Dauphine Street Music Festival

"Tonight's the annual Dauphine Street Music Festival. I wanna go. Please?" Davina asked. Marcel paused and turned his gaze towards Alexandra for a moment before looking back at Davina again.

"The whole point of you being up here is so you're never spotted out there. You know who works smack in the middle of Dauphine Street? Sophie Deveraux. Pain-in-the-ass witch, and you know what the witches will do to you if they find you." Marcel explained back. Davina rolled her eyes in annoyance before taking a threatening step forward. Alexandra crossed her arms letting Davina reason with him.

"But you control the witches. Make her go away! Marcel, it's one night!" Davina pleaded. Marcel shook his head and raised his hands as if telling her to calm down.

"I said 'No'." Marcel stated. Davina glanced back at Alexandra and she nodded. Marcel made his way towards the door to leave when Davina stepped forward.

"I do anything you say, but sometimes I think you forget what I'm capable of. Did you know I can make someone's blood boil? All I have to do is focus." Davina threatened. She stared Marcel down, and the sound of hissing picked up around the room as his blood started boiling and he began to sweat.

"Fine. We compromise, all right? You going out alone—too dangerous. But, I'll introduce you to a friend of mine that's going to be there. Alright? Nice lady. You two are really gonna hit it off. And I'm sure Alex will want to join you." Marcel agreed. Davina smiled widely and bounced on her heels. Marcel left and Davina ran over to hug her elder sister.

"Tonight's gonna be fun. I'll see you later." Alexandra stated. Davina nodded before Alex left the church and returned to the plantation. As Alex walked in she noticed Hayley sitting on the couch, flipping through a book with Agnes sitting next to her. A few meters away, Rebekah sat at the table typing away on a laptop.

"I told you Agnes, I feel great!" Hayley said with a smile as she flicked through the book on her lap. Alexandra sent her a soft smile before walking over to Rebekah sitting next to her.

"What are you doing?" Alexandra asked. Rebekah glanced up and smiled at her softly.

"Trying to figure out where Davina is. Seeing as you won't tell us anything I thought I'd try my own search." Rebekah explained. Alexandra nodded before leaning back in her chair, closing her eyes for a moment. "A lot of women would kill to have a child. It strikes me as odd that you're not taking better care of yours."

"I know a doctor out in the bayou. Off the beaten path. Now, I took the liberty of making an appointment for you. Tonight, after-hours, just us. Vampires will never get word of it." Agnes explained. Alexandra sat up straight not trusting a thing Agnes said. There wasn't a doctor in the bayou, or at least none she'd ever heard of.
