Almost two weeks had passed since Niklaus daggered Elijah. His body still laid in a coffin within the basement, cloaked so no one could see it. The guilt of leaving him like that started to pile up and eat away at Alexandra. She felt bad for playing a part in leaving him daggered.

Hayley and Alex had gotten closer, they spoke almost every day and Alexandra wanted to tell the werewolf but knew she couldn't. Niklaus just told Hayley that Elijah left, that he had other things he needed to do and it made her mad and kind of upset. Alexandra didn't understand why Hayley felt so much for the eldest original when she hadn't known him long.

Alexandra stood in the kitchen when she heard the front door open and slam closed. Curious as to who was making so much noise, she walked out of the kitchen and into the foyer. A blonde women stood by the front door looking around. As Alexandra walks towards her, Hayley advances down from the stairs holding a fire iron.

"Who the hell are you?" Hayley asked trotting down the stairs, gripping the rod tighter. The blonde looked up at her, no fear obvious in her eyes as she looked at the werewolf.

"Oh, you must be the maid. My bags are in the car – get them, will you?" Rebekah asked. Hayley and Alexandra chuckled as Hayley placed the iron rod to her side now reaching the bottom of the stairs.

"Hello. Not the maid." Hayley expressed. Rebekah smiled and realization finally came to her.

"Right. You're that werewolf girl my brother, Klaus, knocked up. I was expecting to see some kind of supernatural, miracle baby bump. Guess you're not showing yet. It's Hayley, isn't it? and you're the witch linked to Hayley, Alexandra, wasn't it?" Rebekah asked glancing from the pregnant werewolf to the young witch. Alex and Hayley glanced at each other with knowing smiles.

"You have your brother's manners." Alexandra acknowledged as she couldn't help but see the resemblance between the blonde in front of her and the two Mikaelson brothers. Rebekah frowned not knowing whether to take the statement as a compliment or an insult.

"And his temper, too, so watch it. Where's Elijah?" Rebekah asked looking around the house again. Alexandra shifted on her feet, the guilty feeling rising back into the pit of her stomach.

"Beats me. He's long gone." Hayley answered looking Rebekah up and down. It was in Hayley's nature to not trust vampires, after all she was a werewolf.

"What do you mean, "long gone"?" Rebekah asked again, eyeing both girls confused and angry. If the girl wasn't pregnant with her brothers kid, her neck would have been snapped for even looking at Rebekah the wrong way.

"Well, one minute he was here making epic promises about protecting me in this predicament that a bottle of scotch and some bad decisions got me into – he was all poetic about how we're family – and then Klaus told me he bailed. Guess that's what I get for trusting a vampire." Hayley explained while crossing her arms and glaring at the blonde. Alexandra looked around the room, not meeting either of their eyes. She felt really bad for lying to them both, but she knew Niklaus would hand Elijah over to Marcel if she didn't keep his location a secret.
