Niklaus placed Alexandra down on the porch of an abandoned cabin. He nodded towards the door, silently telling her to go inside and wait for him to come back. Alexandra nodded and did as Niklaus said walking into the cabin. She looked around in interested at all the different antics inside.Alexandra ran her fingers along the shelves while reading the different titles of books sitting on it. She walked over to a box and crouched down, before opening it. A bunch of different kids toys sat inside and Alexandra raised an eyebrow confused.
A few moments passed before the cabin door opened again, Alexandra stood up quickly ready to fight whoever it was. She soon calmed down seeing Niklaus looking at her with an amused smile.
"Come. We will wait for Elijah and Hayley outside." Niklaus said. Alexandra nodded before stepping passed him, outside. She sat down on the steps and looked towards the dad body on the ground.
"Who is that?" Alexandra asked. Niklaus looked down at the body and kicks it, rolling him over onto his back. Alexandra slapped his shoulder. "Don't do that."
Niklaus chuckled before leaving the body and sitting next to Alexandra. "Can I ask you a question?" Niklaus asked. Alexandra shrugged. "Why are you still here? You are unlinked from Hayley, you are free from my family, why not leave?"
Alexandra looked down at the dirt beneath her feet, before glancing back up towards Niklaus.
"I have grown quite fond of your family, if I'm being honest. I want to help you all through this, your child deserves a good home to grow up in." Alexandra explained. Niklaus looked at her dumbstruck from her answer. He had never met someone in his life, so dedicated to helping his family. Most people run for the hills the first chance they get, yet not her, she was definitely something else.
"That's good to hear. I would hate to have to deal with a sour Elijah, if you had decided to leave." Niklaus teased. Alexandra blushed and went to reply but stopped herself when she noticed Elijah and Hayley walking towards them. Alexandra and Niklaus stood up quickly and looked at the other pair. Elijah's eyes held some kind of jealousy while Hayley just looked at the witch annoyed that she was still hanging around.
"Finally, It's hot out here. Can we go home now?" Alexandra asked, wiping some sweat from her forehead. Niklaus chuckled and gave her a look, she signed knowing he wanted to ask questions.
"There you are! I see you've found our wandering stray. Perhaps you could shed some light on the situation. This appears to be a hybrid." Niklaus asked them kicking the body again. Alexandra rolled her eyes and sent him a glare.
"His name was Dwayne." Hayley spat back in anger. Niklaus shrugged.
"Well, whoever it was, I didn't sire him. Any idea how that's possible?" Niklaus asked, confusion mixed with anger laced in his voice. He genuinely had no idea how it was possible, yet Hayley didn't believe him.
Hayley starts to advance towards him, "As if you didn't know!" She exclaimed before Elijah raised his arm, holding her back before slightly stepping in front of her as if to protect her from Klaus.
Alexandra watched the action, a wave of jealousy crashing through her. "Ahhh, well, aren't you two fast friends? Oh, come on, then. What kind of horrible accusation have you conspired to levy against me?" Niklaus asked waving his hand around. He was intrigued by what what Tyler had told Hayley.
"Tyler Lockwood brought Hayley here to test a theory." Elijah started to explain. Niklaus raised his eyebrows as Alexandra stood up from her spot on the stairs. She moved to stand next to Niklaus with her arms crossed. "That the blood of her child could be used to sire hybrids. He claims that you knew that. Furthermore, that you intended to use this knowledge to build an army."
