The cast and I all dragged our suitcases to the car that's parked outside the school.
"Why do I have to carry this it weighs a ton. Aren't there people for this?" Frankie complained.
"There is one person. It's you," Matt replied making us all burst out laughing.
"Why did we all pack so much if we're only going away for a little bit?" I asked once we reached the car.
"Because it's us," Dara replied.
"True that," Julia chimed in.
"Ok people, once we put the luggage in the boot we can get going," Tim said.
We all put our suitcases in the boot like a game of Jenga, then piled into the car.
And of course fate isn't on my side cus I'm sitting next to Josh. At our seats are in the very back, meaning we were alone.
I buckled up my seatbelt and immediately turned away from Josh, avoding eye contact at all costs.
"Alright, ready to go?" Matt yelled.
"Who put Matt in charge of driving?" Sofia asked.
"I did," he replied.
"But you suck at driving!" Sofia countered.
"I'll have you know I'm the best driver in the history of all drivers."
"That's the biggest lie to ever be told," Sofia countered.
"Can we just start driving? I'm exhausted," I complained, letting out a massive yawn.
"Why are you so tired?" Frankie asked.
Josh turned to me and whispered, "You don't have to tell them if you don't want to."
I simply nodded my head and he told them we were up late practicing the songs for the show.
Murmurs of "Oh that was smart" and "Hope you sleep well tonight" filled the car.
"Right! Who's ready to rumble?!" Matt yelled.
"Ok dad, just go for heavens sake," Julia replied.
Everyone fell into conversation with their neighbour. I just looked out the window at all the buildings passing when Josh asked me if I wanted to sleep on his shoulder.
"Are you sure?"
"Yeh of course."
"I don't know Josh."
"Liv, please. You're exhausted and you need to sleep. All the crying yesterday tired you out and I know for a fact you didn't sleep last night. Please just rest."
How can I resist him when he looks at me that way. Like I'm the only person in the world.
"Ok," I said with a small sigh.
"Come here," he said with his arms out. He had his back to the door so he was fully facing me.
I hesitated before giving in and falling into his embrace. He held me like he was afraid I'd run away.
"Sleep well Livvy," he said quietly, kissing the top of my head before falling asleep himself.

A/N: (that's kinda how i picture it but not exactly. It's more like them laying down. Like that picture that was going around of a random couple that people were saying was Josh and Liv, except for in the car)

*5 hours later*
Joshua's POV:
I woke up an hour ago, but Liv is still asleep. This is the one time she can fully escape from all the drama going on in her life, so I don't want to wake her. But we were arriving at the cabin in 5 minutes.
"Livvy?" I said while stroking her hair, trying to wake her up.
Her eyes slowly fluttered open.
"Hi Joshy" she said with a yawn.
"We're arriving in a couple minutes," I told her.
"How long did I sleep for?" she asked looking up at me.
"About 5 hours," I said with a small laugh.
"I guess I really was tired," she replied with a smile.
Liv immediately jumed out of the car like usain bolt, making me miss the feeling of her in my arms.
"Josh you coming?" she said, already out the door.
"Yeh sorry I just zoned out a bit."
I quickly got out the car, grabbed my suitcase, and followed everyone inside.
"Wow," we all said at the same time.
"Alright, apparently there's enough rooms so that two people could share each room. So go choose a room!" Matt informed us.
We all ditched our suitcase and ran upstairs.
I checked all the rooms and every single one of them was taken except for one. I know was one of the first ones to leave so hopefully she chose a different room. I just don't need any more awkwardness or drama right now.
I turned the corner and walked in the room and, of course, there sat Liv staring at me with a look of shock and slight horror on her face.
This will be interesting.

I think this might turn out like the dinner chapters in that I'm gonna have to spread it across multiple chapter cus it's easier for me lol
