Olivia's POV:
I stormed out of the music room and ran out the doors of the school and sat on one of the benches. The second I reached the bench I burst into tears (A/N: ya know the iconic cinderella scene where she's crying on the bench? That's how I picture she's sitting). I didn't mean any of what I said. Yes, Josh has hurt me but not physically.
But Harry isn't as bad as people think he is. Everything he does is because he loves me. Yes, he can be a bit possessive but that just shows he cares about me and doesn't want me to get hurt. Yes, he tries to kiss me when I don't really want to but that's just because he thinks I'm pretty.
As I sat on the bench crying I heard the doors at the entrance of the building open and close. I don't even care who it is, as long as they leave me alone.
"Olivia?"
I spoke too soon.
"U-um yeh?"
I looked up to see Sofia sitting next to me.
"What happened Liv?" she said softly.
"Nothing, I'm fine," I responded, putting a wall up.
"Olivia please don't shut me out like that. You can talk to me."
"No. No, I really can't," I muttered sadly.
"Yes, you can. I'm here for you Liv."
"It's Harry," I admitted quietly.
"Of course."
"What do you mean 'of course'"?
"Liv, you guys don't belong together."
"Yes, we do. He loves me."
"Do you love him?" she countered, rubbing circles on my back.
"Um"
"When I asked if you loved Josh, you didn't even hesitate for a second. You were so sure that you were in love with him. If you feel the same way about Harry, why can't you say it?"
"Sofia, I love Harry. It's just a different kind of love," I defended.
"Exactly. It's the wrong kind of love. Now you can give me all the excuses you can think of, but you shouldn't be with a boy like him."
"If you came out here to scold me you should have just got Josh."
"I'm sorry. I just worry about you," she replied sweetly.
"Well don't. I'm fine."
"Olivia. I love you, but you can't keep doing this to yourself. I've seen you when you're with him, you look miserable."
"Well, I'm not."
"Ok. But I really think you should listen to Josh and break up with him."
"So is that why you came out here? To try and convince me to break up with Harry? Cus it's not happening."
"I just got together with Harry and frankly Josh doesn't love me. So why should I end a relationship with a guy who loves me?"
"But that's the thing, Olivia. Harry doesn't truly love you. But Josh does. He loves you so much he's scared to tell you in case he hurts you again. So what you need to do is ask yourself if this is all worth it."
"Is what worth it?"
"Your relationship with Harry. Is it worth giving up on you and Josh to be him?"
"I'm not giving up on Josh."
"Well, it sure looks like it."
"Please just tell me what to do Sofia."
"Liv I can't tell you what to do. This is your life, not mine. What I can tell you, is that you need to end whatever the hell is going on with you and Harry."
"But I can't."
"What do you mean 'I can't'?"
"I feel trapped."
"That's why you have us," she said with a small smile.
"I thought everyone hated me."
"Wait what? Why would you think that?"
"Harry told me he heard you guys talking shit about me. He told me that Josh doesn't love me anymore and that he caught him kissing a pretty blonde girl, aka Sabrina."
"Oh my god, Olivia none of that is true! Josh hasn't kissed anyone, and we haven't said anything about you."
"But he seemed so sure..."
"Liv, he's lying to you."
"No. No, he wouldn't do that," I said started to panic.
"Olivia I'm sorry, but you need to get out of this relationship."
"How?"
"Josh."
