Joshua's POV:
As soon as Liv began her solo, I could see all the nerves leave her body.
She belongs on a stage.
"If we're tryin' so we're breakin' free"
Woah, I forgot how beautiful her voice is.
(a/n: i REALLY recommend you watch the vid of them performing breaking free that i posted in the last chapter cus that's exactly how i imagined it. like from how it was sung, to when they looked at each other. all of it lol.)
"You know the world can see us. In a way that's different than who we are" I sang after her line.
"Creating space between us, 'til we're separate hearts". Olivia sung after me.
"But you're faith, it gives me strength. Strength to believe. We're breakin' free," we sang and the crowd began cheering like crazy.
The song went on with Olivia and I nailing each note until it came to the part I was most nervous for.
"More than hope, more than faith" I sung.
"This is true, this is fate" Liv sung.
"And togeth r see it comin'" we sang together.
"More than you more than me," I sang.
"Not I want but a need" Liv sang.
"Both of us breaking free" we sang together.

Olivia's POV:
YES YES YES!!! WE CRUSHED THOSE NOTES!!
The audience is fully into it now, I actually think we might win this thing.
I just missed performing with Josh. I forgot how much fun it is singing with the person you love.
I-I-I mean care about.
Hah, not love. Care about. You can't love them because they are with someone else. Even if it's killing you inside. Even if millions of people, including you, believe that you two belong together. Even if you two know each other better than anybody else could. Even if you two sing together like it was meant to be and have the sweetest memories. Even if you two once liked each other. Even if you two ug each other like you're scared the other one might let go. You can't love them. Because they are in love with someone else. And they will never love you in that way.
**1 minute later**
"In a way that's different than who we are" we sang softly, while staring at each other.
The song finished and the crowd started cheering and clapping like there was no tomorrow.
"Well, well, well, I don't know about you but I think we have a winner!" the judge exclaimed, coming onto the stage.
"What do you guys think," he continued, "team Jolivia or team Bechloe?"
(A/E: lol i decided the other couple's name are ben and chloe)
"JOLIVIA!" the crowed yelled.
"Well then I guess we have a winner! Congrats Josh and Olivia! And congrats to Ben and Chloe as well for a killer performance!" he finished.
"Yes! We did it!" Josh said, running up to me and pulling me into a hug, spinning me in the air.

"Oh my gosh I was so worried we'd mess up!" I said, with a huge smile on my face.
"I guess our chemistry was super useful right?!"
Uh what? I thought we didn't have chemistry anymore.
"Um yeh definitely!" I said, as we walked off the stage.
"Hey, you ok?"
"Yeah of course. Why wouldn't I be?"
"You just seem a little off. Did I say something wrong?" he asked, a look of concern washed over his face.
"No, no! You didn't say anything Joshy! I'm really fine," I said and I meant it.
We started walking back to the restaurant when Josh suddenly stopped walking.
"What's wrong? Are you ok?" I asked him.
"I just had the craziest idea," he replied with a grin on his face.
"What's the idea..." I said with a smile.
"How about we go to Disneyland?"
"What?!" I said, laughing.
"I'm serious! Let's just go!"
"Wait, like run away to Disneyland?! At 10 pm?!"
He can't be serious. But I want him to be.
"Yes! Olivia I haven't had this much fun in ages! Please say you'll go with me!"
Should we do this? Leave everyone here? It's only 20 minutes away...
(a/n: just ignore the fact that there isn't a Disney this close lol. its a story so...)
"Ok," I said softly.
"Really!" Josh sais with the biggest grin.
"Yes, really! God, I'll run away with you to Disneyland!" I said, laughing.
"Yay! I promise you tonight is going to be amazing!" he said, lifting we in the air and twirling me around.
"We just need to tell everyone, then we can go," I said before turning around and going back to the restaurant.
That is, until Josh snaked his arm around my waist and pulled me back to him.
"Or we could not tell them?" he said, softly.
"Are you sure?"
"I'm positive."
"Then let's go," I said with a soft smile.
He looked down at me with the same smile and a twinkle in his eyes.
