"I'm gonna go make breakfast and bring it up here ok?" I asked her sitting up slightly, resting my weight on my elbow.
"Can I come downstairs with you?" she asked, turning so she was facing me.
"You sure?"
"Yeah, I wanna spend as much time with my boyfriend before everyone else wakes up," she said with the cutest smile.
"Ok," I confirmed, matching her smile.
We got out of bed and raced each other down the stairs.
"YES!!! AND OLIVIA WINS YET ANOTHER COMPETITION!!!" Liv exclaimed, jumping up and down offwhen she got downstairs first.
"I'm happy you're happy, but if you keep yelling like that everyone else will make up," I said, hugging her and swaying our bodies side to side.
"Fair point. Can we chill on the sofa for a bit before we make breakfast? It's only 7 am," she asked looking up at me.
"Of course. I'm gonna grab some blankets, then I'll join you," I replied, walking towards the linens closest.
I turned around to see Liv bouncing slightly from her seat on the sofa like a child on Christmas morning. I still can't believe I thought I belonged with Sabrina.
"Okie dokie, I got the fluffy pink one you're so obsessed with and the weighted one," I said, draping the blankets over us on the sofa.
"Thank you," she replied sweetly, snuggling close into me.
"Anything for you."
"Thank you for waiting for me."
She didn't even have to clarify for me to know what she was talking about.
"Thank you for not giving up on us," I replied, emphasizing the 'you'.
"I love, Josh."
"I love you more, Liv."
Just as I leaned down to kiss her, I heard a door swing open followed by everyone running out.
"I KNEW IT!" Matt yelled.
"HOW DARE YOU NOT TELL ME!!" Dara joined.
"YOU GUYS SUCK!" Larry yelled.
"Aww the babies are all grown up," Carlos said.
"Hehe hey, guys..." Liv said sheepishly.
"Surprise?" I said.
Everyone sat around the living room, looking a mix of a proud parent, and a pissed off two-year-old.
"So Mr. 'I don't love liv', how long has this been going on?" Matt asked, sitting on the sofa.
