My One And Only

Chapter 1

I wake up at 6AM and get ready for my flight to LA at 9AM

Today I was moving from the UK to LA to join Not A Content House.

Once I'm ready I go down and grab some breakfast.

"So you excited to go to LA" my sister Izzy asks "yeah I am"

"You better fly me out there to visit you" "you only want that not to visit me but to go to LA" I say "duh"

"Right I need to go" I say and hug my sister "have fun"

"Also don't forget to take your meds" "I will Iz don't worry anyway you shouldn't be worrying about me your younger I should be looking out for you" I say

"And you do but I'm returning that because your mental health matters too" "I know thanks Iz I'll miss you"

"I'll miss you too softie" "oh shut up" I say and smack her arm lightly

I get in my Mums car and she drives me to the airport.

I go and hug her and say bye.

"Jess have a fresh start forget everything that's happened" she says "I will Mum"

"And whatever happens just know that your farther would be so proud right now" she says tearing up "I know he would Mum" I say a tear rolling down my cheek.

She wipes it away and we hug one last time.

"And don't forget to take your meds" she says "oh jeez Izzy's already said that to me but I won't I promise"

"I love you sweetie" "I love you too mum"

I step off the plane and the warm LA sun instantly hits my face.

I go through passport control and then go to collect my baggage, once I've done this I walk to the Starbucks in the airport and grab a drink.

I call an uber and it arrives ten minutes later, I give the driver the address and sit back in my seat and look out the window as they start driving.

I was filled with excitement but also nervous incase the girls didn't like me.

I'd only spoken to two of the girls and that was Anna and Katie, we got on really well so I was hoping that would be the same with the other girls.

I arrive at the house and I get out the Uber, I grab my luggage and walk to the front door.

I take a deep breath before knocking, a few minutes later the door opens revealing two girls, I look at them and realise it's Katie and Anna.

"You finally made it" Anna squeals and pulls me into a tight hug

"Anna you dumbfuck get off her I wanna say hello" Katie shouts and Anna pulls out of our embrace

"It's so good to finally meet you" Katie shouts and practically jumps into my arms

"I'm so excited to be here" I say flashing a smile at the two smaller girls in front of me

"Everyone is going to love you" Anna squeals "yeah they really will but only Sab and Eva are in at the moment but everyone else will be back later"

"Come on then we'll take you to them aswell as your room" Anna says

Katie grabs my luggage and starts walking towards the stairs.

"I don't mind taking that" I say "no no you've just been on a flight I'll take them well and Anna"

"Oi dumbfuck take one of these suitcases" Katie says to Anna

Anna rolls her eyes and shoves Katie lightly before taking one of my suitcases

"I really don-" "no we're taking your luggage" Anna says cutting me off

I follow them and we first go to the my new room.

"Wow it's amazing" I say in awe looking at the massive room in front of me "I'm glad you like it" Anna says

"Now come on let's go see Eva and Sab" Katie squeals

She grabs my arm and drags me towards a room and barges in.

"Jeez Katie theres something called knocking" one of the girls say

"Err no there's not in my world and anyway the new members here and you need to meet her" Katie says

A girl with blonde hair squeals and runs over to me.

"I'm Sab you must be Jess" she says "yes that's me it's great to meet you" I say and we hug

The other girl walks over and we make eye contact.

She was absolutely stunning.

"It's nice to meet you I'm Jess" I say but she ignores me and continues to stare at me

"Eva" Anna says snapping her fingers in front of the brunettes face

"Huh oh um nice to meet you Jess I'm Eva" she says and wraps me into an embrace

I eventually let go as it felt like we were hugging forever.

She gives me a shy smile as we make eye contact once more.

"Right well we'll let you unpack and settle in" Anna says "thanks"

I walk back to my room and start unpacking when theres a knock at my door.

"Come in"

The door opens and I see Eva walk in.

"I um wonderd if you need any help unpacking" "um sure thanks" I say smiling and her face lights up

We were unpacking my clothes when she speaks.

"So what part of England do you come from" she asks "Manchester Where'd you come from" "Canada"

"Cool I've always wanted to go" "maybe I'll take you one day" she says and winks "well I wouldn't say no to that especially if a gorgeous girl like you were taking me" I say getting closer to her and making eye contact and a blush forms on her face

She goes to say something but Katie bursts through the door.

"Let's go to Don's bitches" she shouts at the top of her lungs

"What the fuck is Don's" I ask "what I call McDonald's" Eva says smiling

"I see let's go" I say and put my air forces on

"Yesssss I'll go get Anna and Sab" Katie says and leaves the room
