Chapter 21

Eva POV 

I wake up to my phone ringing.

I grab it and answer it.

"Hello"

"Hello is this Miss Cudmore speaking" someone asks

"Yes it is who is this" I ask "I'm nurse Jones the one from the hospital yesterday I'm phoning regarding Jessica Thompson" she says and I sit up in bed

"Yes how is she" I ask "well she's still in a coma"

"Will she wake up" "we have found something that will wake her up so we are going to wake her up from the coma later on tonight and she will eventually come round"

"So she isn't going to die" I ask "We are certain that she will not pass" The nurse says and my face breaks out into a huge smile

"Thank you so much" I say "it's our pleasure I presume you'll be here later on"

"Yes I will be" "okay well see you later Miss Cudmore" "bye" I say and hang up

"Who was that " Anna asks groggily I obviously woke her

"The hospital Jess is going to survive" I say and Anna sits up and hugs me tightly

"See I told she would" she says "I'm so happy we need to tell everyone" I say and jump out of Jess's bed and run downstairs

"Do you know how Jess is" Sab asks as I get downstairs

"Yes now get everyone in here"

We get everyone and sit in the living room.

"So what is it" Dev asks nervously

"So Jess is still in a coma but they have found something that they can use to wake her up so they are going to wake her later on"

"So she isn't going to die" Karina asks "no"

Everyone smiles.

"Thank god for that I don't know what I'd do without her" Katie says

We all have a group hug.

"Wait did you speak to her mom" Cynthia asks "yeah she isn't able to come something to do with Jess's dad but I promised I'd keep her up to date and that I'll look after Jess"

"We should definitely celebrate when she gets home" Cooper says

"Cooper she would've just got out of a coma she'll be fragile and with your idea of celebrating I don't think she'll be up for that" Sab says

"No I meant like we could have a movie night and just eat a load of snacks" he says "that's actually a good idea" Anna says

"yeah she'd like that"

"Oh my god guys we should go out and get like welcome home banners and balloons" Katie says

"yeah we can do that whilst Eva and Anna go to the hospital and we can decorate the house and Jess will have a huge surprise when she comes home" Christian says

"This is going to be amazing" Katie squeals

Me and Anna get in her car and drive to the hospital.

We arrive and go inside and walk to Jess's room.

"Are we allowed inside" I ask a nurse "yes of course she should wake up soon but just be aware she will be tired and will take a few minutes to recognise what's going on"

Me and Anna go inside her room and I sit one side of Jess and Anna the other. 

I hold one of Jess's hand and we wait for her to wake up.

"How did I not notice sooner that she wasn't feeling too great if I'd of just noticed none of this would've happened" I say

"Eva you can't blame yourself no one saw this coming she's just obviously very good at hiding how she's feeling"

"I guess she did say that she used to cover how she was feeling"

"Just think she'll wake up soon and then we can get her home" Anna says

"I know your right boon thanks for being here" "of course I couldn't let you come here on your own and anyway Jess is like a sister I never had so I can't just leave her" Anna says

Just then Jess's eyes slowly open.

"E-Eva" she says slowly
