Chapter 103

*One week later

Eva POV

I wake up in the morning and go downstairs.

Today I had a photoshoot with Jess.

I know we're friends but I feel like it might be quite awkward.

This evening though we are all going to Malibu for a week for Emma's birthday.

I go through to the living room where I see Jess and Izzy, and they were arguing.

"Wow so you don't even want to put up with your own sister aren't you lovely" Izzy shouts

Oh god what have I walked into.

"It's not that Izzy"

"Yes it is Jess"

"I can barely look after myself" Jess says

"You managed to look after me pretty well when I was younger"

"Mum was there then"

"Look I turn eighteen in July I won't be your responsibility for long" Izzy shouts

"Yes you will because if something happens to you I'll still get the blame you know I will"

"What's going on guys" I ask

"Jess doesn't want me to move here because I'll be her responsibility" Izzy replies

"Oh look Izzy I'll talk to you when you've calmed down currently I have things to be doing"

"Bye" Izzy huffs and then walks off

"You okay" I ask Jess

"Yeah, now you ready to go"

"Yeah" I smile

We leave the house and get in Jess's car.

Jess then starts driving to the address Goose gave her for our photoshoot.

"You sure you're okay" I ask

"Of course" she says and I can tell she's lying

"You're lying Jess I know you"

"Okay no I'm not" she mumbles

"You want to talk about it"

"Not really"

We drive in a non-awkward silence for about ten minutes and then Jess starts to talk.

"It's annoying" she says

"What is"

"Like obviously I want Izzy to move here, but I know my mum would hate the idea of her moving here so she'd want me to be looking after Izzy at all times even after she's eighteen but like I don't have the time to do that you know" Jess says

"Yeah I do" I say and smile slightly

"She just thinks it's going to be so easy, like it's not it's a whole new lifestyle, Manchester and LA are very, very different"

"But when I say that she just refuses to listen"

"Oh and she thinks it's going to be so easy to find an apartment" Jess continues to say

"Like Izzy no it'll be hard and they're really expensive I don't think she understands how expensive they are"

"And she wants to move here like next month and it's like at least wait until you've finished college and got your A-Levels"

"I don't know what A-Levels are but yeah" I say with a giggle and I see Jess giggle slightly too

"When would she finish" I ask
